The likely front runner for Miss Basketball, Haven has had a decorated career for Rowan and been amongst the top ranked players in this class since we started the rankings when this class were freshmen. Ford is a volume scorer that can get buckets from any area of the court. Look for that scoring ability to get her on the court at Murray State early in her career.
Brianna is part of a loaded GRC roster and as a result, she doesn’t put up the monster numbers that others in the class do but she has had a sensational career full of lots of wins and cutting down several sets of nets as district and regional champions. Byars is committed to Cincinnati and will be hard to keep off the court thanks to her size and skill set along with an elite motor.
Timberlynn is a certified bucket and one of the best all around scorers in the state. She will finish her career as one of the best players in Mercer County history and they have had some big time players in the last decade or so. Committed to Buffalo, Yeast could easily end up as Miss Basketball this season.
An elite shooter who will likely be a three point specialist in college, at least right away, Holtman has done her part to keep Ryle as one of the best programs in Kentucky. Abby has come a long way as a slasher in the past couple of seasons and can play with the ball in her hands when needed. Look for her to have little trouble adjusting to the college three point when she enrolls at Cincy.
Feltner is maybe the most complete offensive player in the class and has great positional size as a 5’9 wing. Kensley is likely to be one of the leading scorers in Kentucky this season and will continue being a big time scorer when she enrolls at Belmont next year.
Thomas worked her way back from an ACL tear and should be primed for a big Senior season at Murray. Destiny is a big wing who can really knock down the outside shot but has also become a formidable driver over the course of her career. Expect Destiny to be one of the best players in all of Western Kentucky this season.
The most recent commitment on this list (Thompson is headed to Buffalo next year), Jakayla is a true combo guard in the sense that she is effective both on and off the ball. She’s a capable shooter and driver but also knows how to defend both on and off the ball.
Highlights
Meadow is more of a throwback post player as she plays with her back to the basket on offense most of the time. Tisdale is a bruiser who won’t back down from physical contact and isn’t afraid to mix it up on either end. Bowling Green is firmly in the mix for a state title this year and Tisdale can be a matchup problem for potential opponents.
A quick point guard with high level handles and the ability to lock down opposing guards, Ralston is the best available prospect in this class and the only uncommitted of our top 10. Triniti knows how to lead a team in the half court or she can push the pace in transition. She’s not a lights out shooter but with her speed and skill, Ralston doesn’t need to be to keep defenses honest.

One of the most consistently overlooked players in this or any class in Kentucky, all Whitney does is collect double doubles and win games. Lind is a matchup problem for opposing coaches as she can score on the block or face up and score in the midrange. At 6’1, Whitney plays with a great motor and rebounds at a high level, even chasing down out of area rebounds often.
