The class of 2025 in Oklahoma boasts a group of players I am calling the “Elite 6”, who are highly sought after by some of the top programs across the nation. This class is considered one of the best in the country, and these rankings provide a glimpse into the future stars of women’s basketball.
High caliber type of player in every category. High-basketball IQ that sees the floor and controls the pace of the game. She is shifty when needed but keeps it simple and effective. Shoots the ball effectively from deep and has range at the point guard position. Plays with passion and is a competitor. Great passing ability and good body control when attacking and finishing.
Arguably one of the top players in the nation filled with intangibles and abilities that will translate at the next level. The left-handed, Oklahoma University commit, and recent 4A-State champion in the state of Oklahoma has size, shooting ability, and the attack capabilities and she is just getting started. She plays at her own pace and when she turns it on, very few if any can stop her. She is one of the most respected players in the class of 2025 in the Oklahoma and rightly so, Keziah is like that!
Watch out for Janiyah! She is a player that continues to grow and get better despite circumstances. In her sophomore season she battle injury all season but she persevered nonetheless. At the point guard position she is strong, and uses her strength to attack the basket and finish through contact. Her mid-range game is solid and has a smooth jumper. What sets her apart is her basketball IQ – she is smart and does great things with the ball – a willing passer to teammates and plays to make others better.
Explosive guard with loads of ability and talent. Off the dribble she is twitching, shifty, and controlled. She can slice and dice through traffic and finish in the paint through contact and over shot blockers. She has a pure jump shot from deep with range – shoots the ball with confidence. One of the top pound for pound point guards in the nation. She sees the floor really well and can make her teammates better. A competitor that leaves it out on the floor.
Baylor Commit! Long and athletic. She has a gritty – “get it out of the mud” type of game. She is highly aggressive with a motor that can carry the load for her team. She is not afraid of the moment and will attack gaps when they open up off the dribble. Her off ball-play is underrated because she utilizes so many ways to score off the catch. Pure jump shot with range and pull-up game is on point off the dribble into open space. Plays with passion and has fun in the court.
Fierce competitor that plays with a chip on her shoulders. Recently has committed to Nebraska – just because she got that decision out of the way, best believe she is going to keep working. She has good size and is aggressive attacking the basket – and uses her body to absorb contact when finishing. She is relentless and converts well in downhill situations – a variety of finishing options. Plays with her head up and finds her teammates when they’re open, she knows how to draw the defense and kick to teammates. She made a big impression and has improved tremendously in her sophomore campaign and I don’t see her slowing down – she will only get better.
