Alyvia McCorkle Alyvia McCorkle 5’8″ | PG Bettendorf | 2026 State IA makes her first appearance in the rankings in the state of Iowa and she already finds herself in the Top 10. McCorkle, a savvy and well-seasoned point guard, has been on point this spring for her Mac Irvin Fire 17U team out of Chicago. She is having so much sucess with this team and program that she has already received offers from Ohio State, DePaul, Wichita State, and Bradley. This spring was the first time that I had a chance to see McCorkle compete in person and she did not dissapoint. Her knowledge of the game mixed with her skill set is impressive to say the least. Her future is bright and the possibles are endless with this one.

#13. Karis Finley Karis Finley 5'9" | SG Cedar Falls | 2026 State IA – Cedar Falls High School
Karis Finley Karis Finley 5’9″ | SG Cedar Falls | 2026 State IA comes into our rankings at #13 out of Cedar Falls high school. Finley is an athlete. An individual who plays multiple sports and dominates a majority of them because of her pure altheicism and coordination. When it comes to basketball through she also has a good amount of skill. Such a good amount that she was recently offered by Bradley this spring while they were watching her compete for her All Iowa Attack EYBL team. Finley would be described as a versatile guard when she plays the game. She can play on or off the ball and still be productive for her teams while always looking to get others involved. Her ceiling and upside are fairly high. She is going to be able to find a college program out there that is the right fit for her game and really help that program succeed in the near future. There is not doubt about it.
#22. Jaliyah Kinnetz-Jenkins Jaliyah Kinnetz-Jenkins 5'9" | PG Johnston | 2026 State IA – Johnston High School
Jaliyah Kinnetz-Jenkins Jaliyah Kinnetz-Jenkins 5’9″ | PG Johnston | 2026 State IA didn’t see the varsity floor as a freshman really at Johnston high school last season and that is because their varsity team consisted of several experienced and elite level skilled players. This season I expect that to change. Kinnetz jumps into our rankings at #22. A pretty good spot when you consider the production of the players that are placed around her on the list. Kinnetz has a very well rounded game with an ability to shoot from deep that is better than most around her. She has no problem pulling up from the volleyball line and knocking down a three in transition if the defense sags off of her in big moments of a game. I want to see how her game translates to the high school floor this winter but from what I’ve seen thus far, she is a player who is going to be able to step up and produce over the next few years for the Dragons.
#27. Maryne Szalo Maryne Szalo 5'10" | SF Waukee | 2026 State IA – Waukee High School
Maryne Szalo Maryne Szalo 5’10” | SF Waukee | 2026 State IA is a small forward with a big upside and a promising head on her shoulders. She is working on becoming an efficient three level scorer, while in the meantime she is dominating from 15FT and in. She understands how to work with her back to the basket or face-up, depending on how the defense is playing her during each possession. Defensively she is a hard worker with a high motor. Her length and quick hands help her get a ton of deflections, leading to steals for herself and her team a majority of the time. This spring Szalo has put together a nice season. I’m hoping she is going to ride this into the winter and bring it to the high school floor. Something that is more than do-able for a player with her combination of skill and size.

#31. Grace Fincham Grace Fincham 5'10" | CG Iowa City West | 2026 State IA – Iowa City West High School
Grace Fincham Grace Fincham 5’10” | CG Iowa City West | 2026 State IA saw the floor a lot freshman year and she made the most of it. The 2026 player out of the Iowa City area averaged 8.8 PPG, 4.5 RPG, and a few assists per game for her Iowa City West High School team. This season Fincham is going to be asked to pick up a lot of the work load for her Trojan’s squad after the graduation of Meena Tate. Tate was West High’s leader in several categories last winter and will be playing next season at Dartmouth. When it comes to Fincham she keeps it simple and consistent. She has nice ability scoring the ball from all over the floor while having some good reach and altheticism to go along with that. I’m expecting a big winter out of her for the Trojans but we will just have to wait and see.
