We have already taken a look at the ball handlers and senior standouts from the event, so let’s take a look at the class of 2025 that shined in their competitions.
Elle Stone Elle Stone 5’10” | CG Mallard Creek | 2025 State NC continues to show off her range shooting the ball catching the pass and putting up the shot even with hands in her face. She attacks the basket filling in lanes on fast breaks perfectly to get the open look around the rim and score. On the other end, she showed how she can block shots from the block being able to track the ball. She stripped the ball from opponents and immediately found her teammates flashing up the court.
Jamyrah Cherry Jamyrah Cherry 5’10” | SF Salisbury | 2025 State NC was making her own plays getting the rebounds and going back up strong with the board. She had an excellent defensive stance keeping a strong guard in front of her as she tried to work down to the basket and ultimately ended up with a block on Cherry’s stat sheet. She did a nice job filling the middle of the court for the pass to break a press.

Khloe Thompson Khloe Thompson 5’6″ | CG Cannon | 2025 State NC is so quick handling the ball exploding up the court as soon as she gets it. She can weave in and out of her defenders on her way to the basket, and she makes the smart dish to her teammate for some points. Her speed is an asset on defense flashing in front of the pass to grab some steals.
Skyla Tuthill Skyla Tuthill 5’11” | SG Winston-Salem Christian National | 2025 State NC was flashing all over the court getting the pass being ready for her shot. She attacked the basket making some points count from the free throw line. She showed off her range shooting the ball from deep. There’s certainly a reason that the opposing team’s coach was immediately identifying her as the shooter. She used screens well knowing exactly how to draw her defender to it and take full advantage.

Jodi King Jodi King 5’10” | PF 1 Of 1 Prep | 2025 State NC showed off her quick close out blocking a midrange jumper and grabbing the steal. She moves well knowing how to attack the gaps running plays and get the pass for some points. She had some nice ball fakes moving and attacking the basket.

Devin Long Devin Long 5’8″ | CG United Faith | 2025 State NC showed off her stroke around the perimeter with her new team, and she attacked the basket being ready to score through contact when needed. She filled in the lanes on fast breaks staying ready for the pass and bucket. She shot well off the dribble creating her own space to put up her shot. She was tough on defense, too, blocking the path of her opponents.
