Last Wednesday we released the updated rankings for the Class of 2025. We did not expand the list at all, so there is still a Top-75 and a watch list of another 100 prospects, so a total of 175 members of the Class of 2025 are listed on Prep Girls Hoops Indiana. This quarter is more of a maintenance update heading into the high school season, but we will expand the list once again around Christmas. Below, I wanted to highlight all of the small forwards in the class who we currently have listed, as well as highlight a handful of ladies who stood out throughout the Summer and early Fall.

SUMMER/FALL STOCK-RISERS & ANY NEWCOMERS:

, 2025, 5-8 SF/SG, North Central H.S. (Indianapolis)
– I remember first seeing Kristian as an incoming Freshman, and she has always been a strong, athletic wing who can fill it up, but she was primarily a driver with a nice mid-range game. This Summer, especially in June with the Lady Panthers, she shot the ball extremely well from the perimeter. She could be one of the biggest breakout stars of the 2023-2024 season, and she could also end up leading the Panthers in scoring this Winter.
Nina Garner

Munster | 2025

, 2025, 6-0 SF, Munster H.S.
– Nina is somewhat of a hidden talent, so coaches should get on her immediately. She is incredibly long, fluidly athletic, and smooth. However, she is also extremely quick-footed, and she can sit down and engulf water-bug point guards defensively. Her ability to defend the ball like that can suffocate offenses. Offensively, she is still working to make her perimeter jumper consistent, but she is solid attacking the basket and scoring at the rim.
Sophie Gesell

Batesville | 2025

, 2025, 5-10 SF, Batesville H.S.
– Sophie is one of just a couple of newcomers to the entire Class of 2025 list at this time. When I was able to see her over the Summer, I felt like she was steady and consistent, versatile, and skilled. She is a wiry-strong, fairly athletic wing in most directions, but she also plays with a really nice motor and will battle inside for rebounds. She can handle it some around the perimeter, and she’s a solid shooter to the 3-point line.
Lauren Perry

Carmel | 2025

, 2025, 6-2 SF, Carmel H.S.
– Lauren put together a really nice Spring & Summer grassroots season, and a lot of it was due to the fact she was consistently healthy for most of it. By July, she was knocking down shots from 25-feet as steadily as she was making free throws, and she was attempting to play more physical defensively and on the boards. As she finishes growing and continues to build strength on her wiry frame, look for that confidence to keep growing.
Cori Schultz

5'9" | SF
Chesterton | 2025
IN
, 2025, 5-9 SF/SG, Chesterton H.S.
– Cori had a tremendous grassroots season, and she played much differently than during the Winter. In high school, she is replied upon to be a threat from the perimeter, primarily as a shooter. But during the Spring & Summer, she was much more aggressive off the bounce, attacking the basket with intent, and even initiating the offense and creating for teammates. She has nice length and athleticism, and she is also an effective defender.
