Sain was the best player in the gym on Saturday. She is a highly-ranked prospect, and after her performance this past weekend, it’s easy to see why! She is an athletic guard that can score at ease. She did a great job of getting her teammates involved with some crafty passes. Muskegon has produced many talented basketball players, and Sain is certainly among them!
Wolthuis was hands down the best shooter in the gym this past weekend at the Top 250 Expo! She can and will pull up from anywhere and knock down shots. If the defense closed out low on her, her shot was off. However, if they closed out high, she would blow by. She had some impressive finishes at the rim as well. Look for Lizzie to continue putting up impressive numbers this winter for South Christian.
Highlights
Rickli dominated on both end of the floor at the Top 250 Expo. She owned the offensive boards and had countless put-backs. She has next-level footwork at the rim and can hit the mid-range jumper. She did her job as a rim protector and was swatting everything that came her way. I am looking forward to watching AJ this winter dominate at Paw Paw.
Highlights
McClain showed everybody at the Top 250 Expo why she is ranked #7 in her class. She was dominate on both ends of the court. When she caught the ball at the high post, there was nobody stopping the freight train coming down the lane! She lives at the free-throw line after big offensive boards. I expect Dania to dominate at South Lake this winter, and I’m looking forward to continuing to watch her game.
Thelen had a great day at the Top 250 Expo. When something big needs to happen, you want the ball in Thelen’s hand. She can score at all three levels and did a great job of getting teammates involved with her passing skills. You would hear shooter every time she touched the ball, and if you left her open, she would make you pay! I’m looking forward to watching Lilly compete this winter for Portland.
