SubscribeThe 2025 class is already entering their Junior season and is one of the best classes I can remember on either the boys or girls side in the 2000s. Here’s a look at our updated Top Five.
Not a surprise here as Zakiyah has been the top 2025 in the state since the class starting making an impact. Johnson is the highest ranked player to come from Kentucky for as long as I can remember and has narrowed her list of colleges from over 40 to a top 12.
Leah would be the top prospect in any other class in Kentucky by a massive margin but she remains second in 2025. Macy is a big time prospect who has offers from most of the top schools in America and is likely to lead Bethlehem to a Class A state title this season.
Byars, like Macy, would be the top prospect in any class other than 2025. Ciara is a big guard who is capable of scoring the ball all over the court. Byars is also able to facilitate offense for her team and is a high level rebounder.
One of the biggest movers in this update, Rhodes moves up to 4th in the class. Niah is a talented scorer and has an obvious skill level that sets her apart as a scorer and playmaker.
Bradley remains a top player in the class and is often overlooked when discussing the best players in Kentucky. Peyton is a certified bucket who can create offense from any area of the court. A bigger guard, Peyton is probably the best player in the 3rd region.
