<p>The Fire won the consolation bracket and defeated the Lady Lions here today. Sophomore<strong> [player_tooltip player_id='827728' first='Lili' last='Szabo'] </strong>finished with 18 points in the win. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='853524' first='Iva' last='Medugorac'] </strong>added 14 points while senior <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='669291' first='Maja' last='Komaszynska'] </strong>added 9 points. Szabo connected on a handful of three-pointers from downtown while seeing the floor all night long to set up her teammates. </p>

<p>The Lady Lions fell to (0-2) here at The League Finals. Senior left-handed guard <strong>Journey Taylor</strong> finished with 13 points. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='245363' first='Bre'Aria' last='Cannon']</strong> and <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='309416' first='Lailah' last='Hatcher'] </strong>both finished with 11 points apiece today. Cannon a big guard and an Eastern Kentucky University signee and Hatcher tried to keep the Lady Lions in the game. Hatcher scored of her points in the 4th quarter after collecting three straight three-pointers inside the last minute of the game. </p>

<p>The Frankfurt, IL team was just too much for this young squad from Oklahoma. Freshman speedster guard <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='758886' first='Symora' last='Damon']</strong> finished with 17 points while Penn State signee<strong> [player_tooltip player_id='266938' first='Ariana' last='Bullock']-Williams </strong>added 16 points in the win. Sophomore guard <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='514946' first='Shania' last='James'] </strong>added 12 points. Senior guard <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='265957' first='Trinity' last='Chears'] </strong>chipped in with 12 points while finishing everything at the rim today. Junior <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='352112' first='Roxy' last='White'] </strong>finished with 11 points and helped put 5 players in double-digits tonight for the Illinois based team. Junior <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='661218' first='Noelani' last='Dunn'] </strong>battled foul trouble early while adding 7 points in the win. </p>

Junior guard <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='309982' first='Sania' last='Richardson']</strong> led the way tonight with 22 points for Grind Prep. Richardson recently went over 2,000 career points while picking up an offer from Clemson University along the way. </p>

<p>8th grader <strong>Kalani Kindred</strong> finished with 19 points this evening while connecting on (14-18) free throws. Kindred played aggressive all night long inside the paint area. 7th grader <strong>Sa'Niya Douglas</strong> was active all game long and will certainly be a name you will hear plenty about in the years to come. </p>

<p>The Lady Lions upset the #1 seeded DME Academy squad from Daytona Beach, FL tonight. The Lady Lions were clicking on all cylinders with their play this evening. Legacy Early College led 29-14 at the halftime break. The Lady Lions outscored DME Academy 25-5 in the 3rd quarter to race out to a 54-19 lead after 3 quarter. Junior <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='176612' first='Zhykera' last='Brown']</strong> led the charge with 30 points tonight in the win. Brown finished shot after shot from all 3 levels on the floor. University of Michigan signee <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='252864' first='Mila' last='Holloway']</strong> added 22 points. Junior forward <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='399248' first='Janyia' last='Williams'] </strong>added 9 points and 9 rebounds in the win while<strong> [player_tooltip player_id='275971' first='India' last='Smith']</strong> added 7 points. </p>
