The State Playoffs are here and there is a lot of talent across the state that should make things interesting, especially when brackets come out this weekend.

6A

Top 4

Davis, Lone Peak, Copper Hills and Lehi

These four teams have been the usual suspects all year long. Lehi really dominated Region 2 in the pre-season. Davis has a really good player in [player_tooltip player_id='772829' first='Kendra' last='Kitchen'] (UVU) and there has been excellent play from T'maea Etuati who is an absolute baller. Davis is a force and has the players to make a deep run.

Lone Peak was victim to the toughest schedule in 6A. They played some national powers and through the downs the figures some things out and are playing better than anyone in the state arguably. shawnee Nordstrom has been playing well and her on ball defense has been stellar. [player_tooltip player_id='773098' first='Sarah' last='Bartholomew'] has been a force and her active post play really puts pressure on defense. The player that has been really impressive has been [player_tooltip player_id='773102' first='Naia' last='Tanuvasa'] one of the best two way playing guards in the state.

Copper Hills has some of the biggest guards in the state and they matchup well against most teams in the state. Ellie taylor has one of the best motors in the state. [player_tooltip player_id='789127' first='Ayla' last='Marston'] is such a good complimentary player. [player_tooltip player_id='788192' first='Skylie' last='Barker'] finds ways to impact the game in the way she runs the floor or protects the paint, she is solid. [player_tooltip player_id='788318' first='Aspen' last='Fraser'] and [player_tooltip player_id='848843' first='Taylor' last='Johnson'] provides more depth.

Lehi has a lot of players that can handle the ball and step out and shoot it as well. [player_tooltip player_id='772862' first='Addy' last='Scrivner'] can really score at all three levels and [player_tooltip player_id='773076' first='Sammie' last='Love'] plays some solid ball as well. These 4 teams will be tough outs in the state tournament.

5A

Top 4

Bountiful, Alta, Wasatch and Brighton

Bountiful has been the top team in the classification and they have one of the best athletes in the state in [player_tooltip player_id='788162' first='Taylor' last='Harvey'] (Texas) who has been outstanding. Milika Satuala has been really good as well and this duo is one of the toughest in the state. They will have a target on their back.

Alta has had one amazing turnaround. [player_tooltip player_id='772853' first='Fui' last='Niumeitolu'] has been on another level as she does a little bit of everything. She does get help from other players but she is a baller.

Wasatch has so much height and you pair that up with some excellent shooting they will be tough to beat. [player_tooltip player_id='772855' first='Ashley' last='Garner'] is a problem in the paint. Peyton Benkhe is a big time shooter but Wasatch has a solid rotation.

Brighton is a sleeping giant with the weapons that they have out there. [player_tooltip player_id='789082' first='Olivia' last='Stephens'] and [player_tooltip player_id='796799' first='Sophie' last='Nielsen'] along with [player_tooltip player_id='789134' first='Taylor' last='Workman'] really for a solid combination as they all have next level skills.

4A

Top 4

Ridgeline, Snow Canyon, Cottonwood and Payson

Ridgeline and Snow Canyon are on a collision course. Emille Skinner, [player_tooltip player_id='773061' first='Elise' last='Livingston'] and company are a special group. Snow Canyon is no slouch either [player_tooltip player_id='788151' first='Olivia' last='Hamlin'] is the real deal.

Cottonwood is tough and Payson plays a physical style of basketball that if you are not ready for it you will have a rude awakening.

Young Talent
<!-- wp:acf/evaluation-block {"name":"acf/evaluation-block","data":{"player_evaluations_0_player":["796475"],"_player_evaluations_0_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_0_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_0_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"Boyer provides young wing scoring as she can shoot well and her ability to be another ball handler out on the floor helps her tem a lot.
