Well, let’s take a look at what players you will find in the Top 10 of the 2027 Palmetto State Class right. This would be a good time to SUBSCRIBE to the site and follow along with the class.
Mungo has already put 2 state championships on her resume before her 9th grade finishes. Braylin has already picked up several NCAA Division 1 offers along the way. Mungo is a quick footed left-handed guard who really looks to excel in the transition game. She will look to be more of a leader next season on the Lady Bulldogs roster with senior sensation Joyce Edwards Joyce Edwards 6’3″ | PF Camden | 2024 State SC moving down the road to play for the University of South Carolina Lady Gamecocks.
Mungo averaged 12.8 ppg, 4.3 assists and 3.7 steals this season for the Lady Bulldogs (28-2). Braylin who already has played 3 years of varsity basketball has 845 career points.
Highlights
Cunningham brings a very good skill set to the table already for her age. JaNyia plays the game extremely hard down on the block. She constantly makes herself available to receive the ball down low. Cunningham can handle the rock and get it downhill while in the process overpowering defenders. JaNyia plays the game to the fullest at all times and never seems to take a play off.
Cunningham a force on the floor averaged 17.4 ppg and 9.7 rebounds this past season for the Lady Stallions. She shot 55% (198-357) from the floor.
Hartwell is a rim protector in the paint for the Lady Rams. Khalia has good length and the ability to challenge shots around the rim. She keeps the ball up high after claiming it off the glass. Hartwell will step out to the elbow and knockdown the occasional jumper for the Lady Rams.
Khalia averaged 10.5 ppg, 8.8 rebounds and 3.8 blocks this season for the Lady Rams (24-4).
Highlights
Walker is a bruiser at times with her work ethic around the floor. Ashley can defend multiple positions on the floor for the Lady Yellow Jackets. Ashley has seen plenty of minutes the past two seasons for Head Coach Al Young and the Lady Yellow Jackets. She delivers her best results closer to the paint and around the bucket. Ashley plays very well away from the ball and always remains active on the floor.
Walker averaged 12.8 ppg, 7 rebounds and 2.3 assists for the Lady Yellow Jackets (23-6) this season. Walker, Khalia Hartwell and Braylin Mungo will all run with Team Curry on the Grassroots Circuit this season.
Murray has the ability to play inside-out on the floor for the Lady Tigers. The left-handed Murray will look to slash to the basket and provide scoring opportunities for herself and her teammates. Logan brings a lot of versatility to the floor. She does a nice job of rebounding the ball on both ends of the court.
Logan averaged 13.5 ppg, 8.3 rebounds and 3.2 steals this past season for the Lady Tigers (19-7).
Dumont made the transition over to the Lady Eagles this season after playing as an 8th grader at St Joseph’s Catholic. Ginny Anne has good court vision and court awareness to find open teammates on the floor. She can create her own shot off the dribble or simply drop a floater down the lane.
Dumont averaged 14.1 ppg, 4.6 rebounds, 3.3 steals and 3.1 assists this past season for the Lady Eagles (11-9).
Hopper can play inside-out on the floor for the Lady Indians. Taniah can handle the rock from end to end in transition. Has a very nice set of hands to catch anything thrown in her direction. She crashes the glass on both ends of the court. Taniah plays the game very aggressive already for her young age.
Hopper averaged 16.4 ppg, 8.9 rebounds and 2.6 steals for the Lady Indians (21-6).
Moore is a pass first point guard for the Lady Hurricanes. Gabby looks to survey over the defense with her ability to touch the gaps and paint on a regular basis. She has the ability to knockdown open jumpers from the perimeter. Gabby showcases really good leadership qualities from her position and willingness to win every possession on the floor.
Moore averaged 8.9 ppg, 6.9 rebounds, 4.6 assists and 3.7 steals this past season for the Lady Hurricanes.
McMillan has been at for 3 years now already for the Lady Griffins on the varsity roster. Jazzlyn averaged 16 ppg, 7.2 rebounds and 2.5 steals for Fairfield Central HS this past season.
McMillan plays the game with a good basketball feel and knowledge. She understands on how to move the ball around the floor and attack the gaps. Jazzlyn really plays both ends of the floor with the same effort and that is hard. McMillan is a very competitve player who brings a good mindset to the floor at all times.
Crumlin is a true post player for the Lady Silver Foxes. Trinity has good length around the rim. She runs the floor well and will look to develop her game even more heading into the Grassroots season.
Crumlin averaged 5.1 ppg and 5 rebounds for the Lady Silver Foxes (23-4) this season.
