Gibson County (37-1) 38

York Institute (27-6) 35

Golly bum.....I'm glad I don't gamble on this stuff. [player_tooltip player_id='408995' first='Reese' last='Beaty']'s and York's run is over. Beaty was good, but not quite good enough to overcome South Gibson's stifling defense.

After Beaty, the next highest scorer for York was [player_tooltip player_id='816715' first='Emma' last='Pile'] with 6 points. [player_tooltip player_id='746202' first='Emma' last='Cooper'] had 3. [player_tooltip player_id='816611' first='Raylee' last='Werner'] had 3 and 8 rebounds. [player_tooltip player_id='831251' first='Zoe' last='Gibson'] added 2 points.

Micah Heart was not great in this one....but she was good enough to go to the Final 4. She finished with 10 points, 7 rebounds, 3 steals. [player_tooltip player_id='636392' first='Sania' last='Reaves'] had 11 points and 9 rebounds, with 2 steals. Georgia Lannom had 8 points and 8 rebounds. A'kira Riding had 7 points on the night.

Loretto (28-4) 55

Gatlinburg-Pittman (36-3) 52

Again....glad I'm not a bettor. I had GP as the 2nd best team in AA. But Loretto is hot, and confident, and they won the 32 minutes in front of them (actually this game went into overtime.....so they won more than 32 mintues....but you get the point).

[player_tooltip player_id='245364' first='Maddy' last='Newman'] was held to 15 points, 7 rebounds on only 3-16 shooting (she normally shoots 60%). [player_tooltip player_id='513232' first='Nya' last='Burns'] had 8 points 6 assists and 2 made threes. Leah Stinnet had 14 points on 3-5 from three, and 3 rebounds. [player_tooltip player_id='435647' first='Maliyah' last='Glasper'] had 6 points and 3 rebounds.

[player_tooltip player_id='409003' first='Ally' last='Weathers'] was SENSATIONAL in this one! She had 33 points on 10-18 shooting, and 13-17 from the FT line. She also managed to collect 3 blocks and 2 steals. [player_tooltip player_id='409003' first='Ally' last='Weathers'] was the best player on the floor.

[player_tooltip player_id='822374' first='Ally' last='Augustin'] had 10 points, 4 rebounds. [player_tooltip player_id='878066' first='Emily' last='Cozart'] had 6 and 6. [player_tooltip player_id='890228' first='Libby' last='Sanders'] had three.

But in this one....it was going to come down to Newman vs Weathers....and Weathers weathered the storm and helped guide Loretto back to the AA championship game.

Pickett County (28-2) 59

Wayne County (31-4) 54

This was a game of [player_tooltip player_id='409014' first='Blair' last='Baugus'] versus the collective greatness of Pickett. And the collective won. Pickett was actually down at the half (37-31) but really rallied in the 2nd half.

[player_tooltip player_id='409014' first='Blair' last='Baugus'] is GREAT! She finished with 16 points, 6 rebounds and was 8-11 from the free throw line. BUT....she was only 4-6 from the field. Baugus has to shoot more than 6 field goals for Wayne to win a Final Four game.

Jacqueline Keaton had 12 points and 7 rebounds. Ava Ashley had 10 points on 4-6 shooting.

For Pickett County, [player_tooltip player_id='514124' first='Zoey' last='Nicholas'] was great with 20 points on 9-14 shooting and 4 assists. [player_tooltip player_id='409093' first='Callie' last='Reeder'] had 17 and 5 on 6-9 shooting. [player_tooltip player_id='409090' first='Emmy' last='Lowe'] had 8 points 5 assists and 3 rebounds. Addy Lowe added 9 points, 3 assists, 3 rebounds.

Pickett simply has so much depth. They had 7 kids play over 10 minutes. You don't see that often in HS postseason play.

Moore County (27-8) 38

Greenfield (23-11) 28

Greenfield was up by four at the half, but Moore dominated the 3rd and 4th quarter to win by 10.

Moore was led by [player_tooltip player_id='409039' first='Ellie' last='Graham'] who was huge with 16 points, 12 rebounds, and 3 steals. [player_tooltip player_id='1095985' first='Madison' last='Dingler'] scored 13 points on 4-8 shooting, and 2-5 from three. Katie Fletcher had 2. And that was it for Moore. Only 4 players scored....and they still figured out a way to win.
