Haley Holcomb Haley Holcomb 5’8″ | SG Scott | 2027 State KY suited up for Lady Vision 2027 at the UA Rise last weekend. She played tenacious defense and forced a lot of turnovers. Haley did a good job finding ways to attack the basket, and shot the lights out from three as well. Her best game was against Michigan Storm she finished with 15 points in the contest.
Highlights
Coaches if you like players that are willing to do whatever it takes for the team to win and impacts the game in a multitude of ways then look no further than Amari Wilkes. She played with a ton of confidence at the Clash, and caught the eye of college coaches throughout the tournament. Amari got after it on defense, made sure to get others involved, and collected a lot of rebounds. Her play helped the OV Lady Dragons go 3-1 on the weekend.

Game 1 vs. Ohio Phoenix: (W) 10 points, 11 rebounds, 7 assists, 5 blocks, 6 steals

Game 4 vs. City Prime Elite: (W) 4 points, 9 rebounds, 5 assists, 4 blocks, 3 steals
Highlights
Abby Sapp Abby Sapp 5’8″ | CG Owensboro | 2026 State KY was terrific for Kentuckiana Hoops 2026 Ewing at the Clash and made her presence felt on both ends of the floor. She showed how versatile she is by scoring from all-three levels on offense. But her primary focus is always on the defensive end as a perimeter and post defender. She had her best game against Legacy Force Supreme (Pink) on Sunday. She had 4 blocks, grabbed several rebounds, and scored 10 points. Abby also did a good job crashing the glass, and distributing the ball making sure everyone got a touch.
Highlights
Shelbie Mills Shelbie Mills 5’4″ | PG South Laurel | 2027 State KY competed against some amazing talent at the Nike EYBL Stop 1 in Hampton, VA this past weekend. She displayed incredible range from deep, and made some terrific passes that put her teammates in position to score. Her best game was against Paige Bueckers old AAU team North Tartan, where she finished with 13 points, 3 steals, and 2 assists.

Next Level 2029 loss their first game, then went on a 3 game winning streak and finished 3-1 at the Clash. Rhys Everett Rhys Everett 5’9″ | CG Conner | 2029 KY had an amazing experience and played very well during the live period weekend. She stands at 5’8, has a strong frame, and is extremely skilled. The fact that she is only entering the 8th grade is impressive knowing her level of potential. Rhys did a good job scoring off the dribble, getting downhill in transition and moved well without the ball. Next Level 2029 is now 11-2 on the AAU season and will have this weekend off before heading to Nashville.

Aaliyah Cheek Aaliyah Cheek 5’6″ | PG Frederick Douglass | 2027 State KY played extremely well at the Spooky Nook UA Rise tournament this past weekend. She knocked down a ton of 3’s, was very effective of the bounce, and did a phenomenal job creating contact that led to trips to the free throw line, where she capitalized very often. Aaliyah played her best against IGB Rise Epps, her team was shorthanded so she stepped up in a major way and became a vocal leader on the floor. She played tough defense, crashed the glass, got others involved, and finished with a team-high 28 points. Aaliyah showed good sportsmanship throughout the tournament as well.
Playing at The Clash during the live period was an amazing experience for Kaylee McElroy Kaylee McElroy 5’5″ | PG Bethlehem | 2027 State KY . She enjoyed bonding with her team, and competing in a electric atmosphere with college coaches around, and against great competition. Kaylee played confident and looked fearless on the big stage. She shot it very well from three, did a good job finding open teammates, and came down with a lot of rebounds. She also made an impact on defense by forcing turnovers.
