In this article we highlight five prospects that stood out on the day, no matter where they were competing across the US.
Thanks for tuning in and enjoy!
On Friday Night, the All Iowa Attack 17U EYBL team got a big victory on the road against another well known EYBL program out of the West. The deciding factor of this contest came down to big shots and someone who kept making those was Jenica Lewis Jenica Lewis 5’10” | PG Johnston | 2026 State IA of the Attack. When it came down to it at the end of the game, Lewis made some important plays, including a big three to put their team up late. This is an important AAU season for Lewis to show what she can really do. She is a Top 25 Ranked recruit in the 2026 Class in the nation for a reason. She has started things off on the right foot by the looks of it. Now she just needs to stay locked in and that momentum will continue to keep rolling.
KeaOnna Worley KeaOnna Worley 5’4″ | PG Prairie | 2027 State IA is playing up with the Missouri Phenom – Iowa team at the 17U level and holding her own as expected. During the first day of this weekend, Worley helped lead her team by doing her usual of scoring, assisting, and defending at a high rate. The best ability that Worley brings to the table in my opinion is that she always makes everyone else better around her with how well she can create, all while being an efficient passer. The question I have always had for Worley is what can she do when someone stops her first move and I’m still not sure what the answer to that is. She is playing like a leader and I hope that continues moving forward.

ETG Midwest Elite 3SSB 16U got their first win of the weekend in dominant fashion on Friday. A big time leader for this group on Day 1 was Scoring Guard, Alexis Hecht. Hecht is an aggressive prospect, who takes what the defense gives her and that was on full display on Friday. She was the leading Guard for this team in a number of different categories throughout their contest and I don’t think that is going to change the rest of the weekend or even the rest of this season. She is going to be a main offensive option for her group and if others over-play, she is going to find an open teammate. It’ll be interesting to see how Day 2 goes for everyone but today, Hecht definitely stood out.

Another prospect playing on the 3SSB circuit in the 16U division is Riley Schellhammer of Indiana Elite . Schellhammer is a 2028 prospect, who is years ahead of her age in skill level on the basketball court. She is a Guard, who is already pretty interchangeable in her teams offense, even though she is at her best when she is at the Point and running things for her squad. On Friday, her team pulled off a narrow victory and she ended the contest with 20 Points, making 5 three pointers and going 5/6 from the line. I highlighted Schellhammer to start this travel season because of her potential. If she stays on this pace, she is going to be receiving calls from every Power-5 program across the country before her high school career comes to a close.
Khloe Nicholson is someone that I had a chance to see compete a year ago and I’m confident in saying that she has only gotten better since the last time I’ve seen her. Nicholson has changed programs and is competing out of Missouri with the Phenom 15U EYBL team for this AAU season. To start off action on Day 1 of Live Period, Nicholson did her thing and stood out for her team. She was scoring in waves, finishing at the rim in a number of different ways, finding open teammates, and handling her 1 on 1 matchups at a consistent rate. Nicholson plays on a team with a lot of good players. If they all play to their full potential, they are going to put together a special Spring/Summer season.
