<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>As we finish up the most recent quarterly rankings updates, our focus is now on the young but intriguing 2027 class. While there is still a lot of time left in their playing careers, several members of this class have flashed upside, so regardless of where a player might be ranked right now, there is still a lot of time left in their careers and the potential for all of these ladies to continue to grow their game. Below is a look specifically at the top shooting guard/off-guard prospects in 2027.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><font color="FFFFFF">.</font></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:table --> <figure class="wp-block-table"><table><tbody><tr><td><strong>Rk.</strong></td><td><strong>Prospect</strong></td><td><strong>Pos.</strong></td><td><strong>Ht.</strong></td><td><strong>H.S.</strong></td></tr><tr><td>1.</td><td>[player_tooltip player_id='692561' first='Ashlee' last='Baker']</td><td>SG</td><td>5-9</td><td>Franklin Central</td></tr><tr><td>2.</td><td>[player_tooltip player_id='751073' first='Jailen' last='Bowling']</td><td>SG</td><td>5-9</td><td>Brebeuf Jesuit</td></tr><tr><td>3.</td><td>[player_tooltip player_id='716615' first='Elliot' last='Leffler']</td><td>SG</td><td>5-9</td><td>Roncalli</td></tr><tr><td>4.</td><td>[player_tooltip player_id='751066' first='Havana' last='Thompson']</td><td>SG</td><td>5-9</td><td>Decatur Central</td></tr><tr><td>5.</td><td>[player_tooltip player_id='756244' first='Courtney' last='Mathew']</td><td>SG</td><td>5-10</td><td>Rensselaer Central</td></tr><tr><td>6.</td><td>[player_tooltip player_id='751040' first='Arianna' last='Harrington']</td><td>SG</td><td>5-7</td><td>North Central (Indianapolis)</td></tr><tr><td>WL</td><td>[player_tooltip player_id='890800' first='Keara' last='Allen']</td><td>SG</td><td>5-8</td><td>Benton Central</td></tr><tr><td>WL</td><td>[player_tooltip player_id='834929' first='Jimara' last='Combs']</td><td>SG</td><td>5-9</td><td>Culver Academy</td></tr><tr><td>WL</td><td>[player_tooltip player_id='834938' first='Katie' last='Hauner']</td><td>SG</td><td>5-9</td><td>Eastern (Pekin)</td></tr><tr><td>WL</td><td>[player_tooltip player_id='834942' first='Davianna' last='Irons']</td><td>SG</td><td>5-8</td><td>Fort Wayne Wayne</td></tr><tr><td>WL</td><td>[player_tooltip player_id='756241' first='Avery' last='Johnson']</td><td>SG</td><td>5-7</td><td>Columbus North</td></tr><tr><td>WL</td><td>[player_tooltip player_id='743641' first='Kaylin' last='Kathmann']</td><td>SG</td><td>5-7</td><td>Batesville</td></tr><tr><td>WL</td><td>[player_tooltip player_id='834945' first='Jayda' last='Kempf']</td><td>SG</td><td>5-6</td><td>Our Lady of Providence</td></tr><tr><td>WL</td><td>[player_tooltip player_id='834952' first='Kyra' last='Lowe']</td><td>SG</td><td>5-7</td><td>South Bend Washington</td></tr><tr><td>WL</td><td>[player_tooltip player_id='751044' first='Brooklyn' last='Roberts']</td><td>SG</td><td>5-7</td><td>Lawrence North</td></tr><tr><td>WL</td><td>[player_tooltip player_id='756245' first='Mallorie' last='Rose']</td><td>SG</td><td>5-7</td><td>Kankakee Valley</td></tr><tr><td>WL</td><td>[player_tooltip player_id='756251' first='Brooke' last='Silva']</td><td>SG</td><td>5-9</td><td>Evansville North</td></tr><tr><td>WL</td><td>[player_tooltip player_id='890886' first='Jayma' last='Stonebraker']</td><td>SG</td><td>5-6</td><td>Whitko</td></tr><tr><td>WL</td><td>[player_tooltip player_id='751110' first='Mya' last='Turner']</td><td>SG</td><td>5-7</td><td>Fremont</td></tr></tbody></table></figure> <!-- /wp:table --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><font color="FFFFFF">.</font></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph {"fontSize":"medium"} --> <p class="has-medium-font-size"><strong>NOTEWORTHY UPDATES:</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='751073' first='Jailen' last='Bowling'], 2027, 5-9 SG, Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory</strong><br>- I first saw Jailen in the Fall, and she flashed a lot of potential. She followed that up with a strong rookie season for the Lady Braves. She has length, fluid athleticism, and bounce. She plays with a nice motor, can handle and attack, and she's becoming a dangerous threat outside. As she keeps developing her skillset, watch out!</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='751040' first='Arianna' last='Harrington'], 2027, 5-7 SG, North Central H.S. (Indianapolis)</strong><br>- I've been impressed with what I've seen from Arianna so far this Spring. She has nice length, broad shoulders and an athletic frame, and she can shoot/score it. She has some shake in her game and can create space for her shot or get by defenders and finish at the rim. I'm anxious to see what she adds to her game over the years.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='834952' first='Kyra' last='Lowe'], 2027, 5-7 SG, South Bend Washington H.S.</strong><br>- Kyra got a lot of opportunity this year for a very good Washington team. She is a nice athlete, she has some speed and quickness, and she has really good length. She can get after it defensively and cause problems, and she can get to the basket and score consistently. I also like how she creates for herself and teammates.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='756244' first='Courtney' last='Mathew'], 2027, 5-10 SG, Rensselaer Central H.S.</strong><br>- Courtney came in as a Freshman and contributed to an already strong Rensselaer Central team. She has tremendous length, she's a nice all-around athlete, and she can shoot/score it at all three levels. As she continues to get stronger, look for her to be a highly recruitable scorer by a variety of college programs.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='756251' first='Brooke' last='Silva'], 2027, 5-8 SG, Evansville North H.S.</strong><br>- Brooke is another 2027 who saw Varsity action as a rookie. She is a very nice, well-balanced athlete, and she can do a little of everything well. She can handle, get downhill, and score it, or she can knock down an open rhythm jumper. I like how she competes like a veteran, and she is a willing and capable defender.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
