The North Polk Comets are going to have a good chance to make a run this season when the Playoff's come around at the State Tournament. They had a chance to win it last year and they will be retuning all of their top producers so as long as they take care of business per usual, they should put up a great regular season record and have a shot to make some things happen before everything is said and done. Their head huncho and leader will be once again, Senior, [player_tooltip player_id='311383' first='Abby' last='Tuttle']. Tuttle is a UNI commit for the past few seasons now and she is going to continue to be a staple throughout the state of Iowa over her collegiate career at the end of the day. She is going to be placed against some tough competition with some difficult matchups in this League so it should push her to be her best come Winter time.

If you love the game of basketball and the sport of competition, you love [player_tooltip player_id='311377' first='Mya' last='Crawford']'s play-style and demeanor. Crawford is coming off of a successful campaign with her [program_tooltip program_id='712377' first='All' last='Iowa Attack'] 17U EYBL program and she is looking to capitalize on a big Winter before heading to Drake. Crawford is going to be able to see the floor with the Bulldogs early on in her career if she plays the type of defense at the next level, that she is playing on the high school floor. Obviously, that is a night and day difference in competition but she is used to playing national competition on the road during AAU so she should be fine. As thing for in this Fall League, she should fair well, no matter what because she can defend at a high rate.

[player_tooltip player_id='557354' first='Jenica' last='Lewis'] îs coming off a knee injury that ended her AAU season for all means necessary and she just had surgery to fix what was going on. This Fall Lewis will slowly come back and get into shape for the Winter season, a hopeful outlook that is more than possible at this point in the process. Lewis comes into this Fall as the #1 rated prospect out of the 2026 Class in Iowa with 40+ D1 offers at this point in her career. Not sure where she will end up but wherever she ends up going, she is a difference maker that should make an instant impact, even early on in her collegiate journey. I'm not expecting anything crazy out of her this Fall in this League other than to get back in shape. If she can slowly do that and trust the process, she should be ready to be a top form come the end of the regular 2024-2025 high school season.

I'm rather curious what [player_tooltip player_id='311351' first='Amani' last='Jenkins'] is going to do this Winter and at the next level at Virginia Tech. Jenkins is a high level player, that eats up space in the paint on both sides of the floor. She is someone that can finish on both ends of the basket, she can defend multiple positions, and she understands the X's and O's of the game. She is also very good at stepping into available space once one of her guards creates for her off of the dribble and she can rebound over most because of her mixture of balance, footwork, and soft touch near the hoop. She should be the most dominant Post prospect in this League but it's not going to be easy. There are a lot of prospects to account for so we will just have to see.

One of the most recruited prospects out of the state of Iowa as a whole the past couple of years is PG, Macy Cominto of Carlisle High School. Comito received 7-10 D1 offers this AAU season while competing with her [program_tooltip program_id='712377' first='All' last='Iowa Attack'] EYBL 16U team and that list is going to continue into the future with her work ethic. In this upcoming League, it'll be filled with the best PG's throughout the entire state for the most part so the best will rise to the top and I expect Comito to be in that conversation. I'm going to give Fall League Awards following these next few months and Comito should be talked about as one of the top PG's if she competes to her full capabilities.
