Carolinas Freshman Showcase: Opening Day MVPS

The first-year event had plenty of talent in the gym here today. <strong><em>Who were some of these players that we saw? She was able to survey the defense at times today and make heady passes along the way. Madison connected on several three-pointers and jumpers all day long. Domonique really takes pride on playing defense and swarming the ball. She plays the game with a quick set of hands and always keeps her teammates involved with her positivity on the floor. Kaleigh is a shifty guard who really likes to play with the ball in her hands. She was able to connect on some floaters and baskets at the rim. Kaleigh uses the crossver at times to race by defenders while getting the ball down into the paint. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Team 5 - <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='567024' first='Miracle' last='Cheeks'] </strong>- Greenville HS </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Cheeks has a new address this season over at Greenville HS. She currently played at Eastside HS. Miracle uses ball screens well while racing to the basket.
