Eight players wearing new school colors this season.

Listed below are eight players that will be wearing a new uniforms for the 2024-2025 season. All eight should have an immediate impact on their new program. Some are transferring starters while others will be getting the opportunity to make a difference as a starter. In this day and age of transfers you can throw out last seasons records cause it could be a whole new team come 24-25 season.   Good luck with your new squad X @coachjvick1 IG @coach_jvick    [player_tooltip player_id='315193' first='Emerie' last='Adams'] has transferred to Ardmore High School. The University of Central Oklahoma commitment joins an Ardmore team that had nice guards but really needed some height. At 5'10 she brings a tall scoring forward that can knock down the shot from outside as well as be a physical scorer inside. A very versatile player on the defensive end as well. Add incoming freshman [player_tooltip player_id='913569' first='Amara' last='King'] at 5'11 along with a new coaching staff and Ardmore could be that team who catches people that were looking at last years record     [player_tooltip player_id='578024' first='Essence' last='Curry'] has transferred to Choctaw High Schools. Essence is currently rehabbing from a leg injury but should return I would expect sometime in January if not sooner. Essence joins a Choctaw team that has veteran players returning but is needing to replace Davis who has taken her talents to OBU this season. Essence is a combo scoring guard that should be a great fit into the Lady Jacket system.   <ul class="wp-block-list"> <li>All State Honorable Mention last season</li> </ul>   <ul class="wp-block-list"> <li>Honorable Mention Big All City last season</li> </ul>     [player_tooltip player_id='574248' first='Maggie' last='Vinson'] has transferred to Harrah. Maggie brings some height to the Harrah roster that returns all their back court from last season. A small forward that runs on the breaks as well as provides some much needed inside scoring around the basket. An excellent rebounder as as Maggie has already recorded several double doubles in her early career. The understanding of help rotation to go along with length also adds a shot blocker also to the Harrah roster.     [player_tooltip player_id='751190' first='Kashae' last='Brown'] has made the move from Fort Gibson to Booker T Washington. Ranked as the number #1 small forward in her class and #6 overall in PGH Rankins. The 6'0 small forward brings a ton of athleticism to an already athletic Lady Hornet team. Strong offensive skill set that can score in all facets of the game. Great understanding of full court pressure should also be a great fit to the already aggressive Hornet defense. As mentioned the Lady Hornets were already in the fold for Class 5a this season. Then add Brown along with some incoming freshman's and watch out for BTW come March.     Kailey has transferred to Summit Christian Academy this season. At 6'0 Kailey brings versatility to the Lady Eagles team. She can play the 3-5 position on offense and does an excellent job defending the paint on defense. An effective shooter from the high post area that can also make great passes from the area as well. Good hands in the post area with a nice effective over the left shoulder move. Kailey should have an immediate impact on filling the scoring needed by the Lady Eagles after losing last year MVP to the college level.     Maycee has transferred from Bixby to Kiefer this year. A excellent point guard that attacks the rim with a great first step off the dribble. Strong finisher at the basket showings nice moves to finish the shot against taller players. Great vision in reading the defense allowing her to create open scoring opportunities for her teammates. A nice outside shooter that will stretch the opposing defense. Understands defensive concepts and is willing to rotate to take the charge. A player that could have a great junior season for the Lady Trojans     Anabelle has transferred to Enid High School from Pond Creek-Hunter. Anabelle brings great size that can run the floor and give Enid some inside physical presence. The type of player that can give her team a double double every night. Good hands and nice footwork in the paint on offense. She is coming off a strong summer that caught some people's attention putting her on several coaches watch list. A Power Forward that has great size and adds an inside scoring threat for the Lady Chicks. Nice hands and solid footwork on the low block can make her unstoppable at times. Good high post shooter will help against teams that play zone. Bring an inside presence for a Lady Chick team that already has good guard play.
