BA Super Scrimmage: The Next Wave?

Oklahoma continues to run deep with talent and the youth movement at Broken Arrow's Super Scrimmages was no exception. Here's a group of 2027s and a couple 2028s who showed the future is now.    Super active post prospect, who beat up the opposition on the glass and in the paint in two scrimmages watched. Definitely plays bigger than her 5 foot 10 listing. Agile movement when covering ground in the lane, and quick off the floor to swat shots. Same mobility allows her to catch the ball in the high post, and agilely attack as a face up threat. Very promising start to her sophomore campaign for the 918 standout.     One of the top freshmen in Oklahoma, already plays with a lot of poise to go along with infectious energy. Played with mindset that loose balls and longer rebounds belong to her, and she has the athletic ability and strength to make it happen. Seems to already have a good understanding of how to play fast but not in a hurry with the ball in her hands. As she can be patient and smart when driving, allowing her to set up and glide by defenders. Ready for instant impact at Westmoore battles in a loaded Class 6A district.     Sykes joined her previously mentioned Trojans teammate as an active and efficient do it all prospect. Made plays as part of Jenks' pressure defense with active hands and a willingness to get on the floor. Scored at the rim, and looked great on a three pointer, where she had to take one dribble after a pump fake and then swished with textbook form and good elevation. Jenks has an interesting core of sophomores that look set to make big plays this winter.     After impressing this summer during grassroots ball, it was good to see Hazzard draw the start in Edmond North's match up with El Reno. Adds an extra dimension to their talented team, especially on the defensive end. The long armed center prospect battled with El Reno's older forward's prospect, with great ball denial and playing strong for a youngster. A strong sign that Hazzard could have a breakout sophomore campaign for one of the best programs in Oklahoma     The dynamic freshman did not look out of place on Saturday morning. She's quick and aggressive, including one push off a defensive rebound that saw her cross up one defender and finish through a help defender for an "old fashion" three point play. Her crossover was nasty, and throughout the day she was fine playing through contact on drives. Traylor is bringing immediate impact to a young and promising Deer Creek squad.     Another quality athlete for Deer Creek, key part of their energetic defensive. Especially as Menifee has good instincts when playing in the passing lanes. Great end to end speed when pushing it in transition or running the floor. Hit multiple times in the mid-range, which is a great compliment to her aggressive driving.
