Princess Anne    Coming off a state championship last season they have actually looked like they have gotten better! Led by one of the top players in the country [player_tooltip player_id='443350' first='Micah' last='Ojo'] they also added transfer [player_tooltip player_id='468758' first='Tristan' last='Rickenbacher'] who is a top 20 player in the state in the 2026. A great late addition of [player_tooltip player_id='443360' first='Ellery' last='Giddens'] coupled with [player_tooltip player_id='808832' first='Jizelle' last='James'] this looks and will be unbeatable!     Manchester HS   State champs last season that made a big statement beating Thomas Dale twice on the road to the title! University of Richmond commit [player_tooltip player_id='304787' first='Rayne' last='Wright'] will carry the load for a team that still has a lot of good pieces to get back to the title game! Coming off an injury last season [player_tooltip player_id='392204' first='Keileen' last='Edwards'] will give the team a big boost on both ends of the court and I believe production from [player_tooltip player_id='376327' first='Finley' last='Weaver'] will go up!  But [player_tooltip player_id='443620' first='Madison' last='Smith'] and [player_tooltip player_id='912142' first='Amirah' last='Royal'] have to have big roles this season in order for this team to repeat!      Deep Creek   A team that can make a lot of noise in the 757! [player_tooltip player_id='523972' first='Morgan' last='Herbert'], a top ten player in the 2027 is a versatile player that will be hard to guard this season!  [player_tooltip player_id='753340' first='Kimora' last='Hinton'] who can score and run show for this team at either guard position. Look for [player_tooltip player_id='603027' first='Alaya' last='Monroe'] to have a breakout season that can help her battle to be one of the best teams in the 757!     Thomas Dale   A team that took a big hit in the off season losing two high level players to prep school but it's still a lot of talent left at dale! Just like that top five player in the 2026 class [player_tooltip player_id='376328' first='Syvannah' last='Dawson'] will have to lead a still talented roster. Alexandria Broadus a top 20 player in the state is a good stretch four that I won't be surprised if she averages a double double a game! But this team will probably go as far as number two ranked player in the 2027 class [player_tooltip player_id='443349' first='Timani' last='Harris'] can take this Dale team!     Catholic    Took a big hit this off season losing one of the best players in the state but has reloaded with young talent for this season. They have two best young guards prospects in the state [player_tooltip player_id='735561' first='Lauryn' last='Loritts'] and [player_tooltip player_id='551094' first='Riley' last='Lynch'] gives this team elite players that are still young! But the team will be anchored by JMU commit [player_tooltip player_id='302566' first='Jemma' last='Eleby'] who can play down low and step out and hit the three point shot! Shifty guard [player_tooltip player_id='376330' first='Maya' last='Dailey'] will now run the show and is a player that can score and hit the three!     S 3 Academy   A team that has a lot of D1 talent headlined by top five player in the 2025 class [player_tooltip player_id='753300' first='Harissoum' last='Coulibaly'] who is committed to Georgia and top ten player in the 2025 [player_tooltip player_id='897854' first='Penda' last='Dieng'] heading to Xavier will contend as one of the better teams in the state! Two big time transfers [player_tooltip player_id='781753' first='Khoudia' last='Diagne'] and sharp shooter [player_tooltip player_id='308614' first='Jadah' last='White'] make for a solid team that will be anchored in the middle by 6'5 [player_tooltip player_id='834729' first='Jameela' last='James'] who is a rising prospect!     Norfolk Christian   Led by 6'8 post [player_tooltip player_id='569079' first='Abuna' last='Ruop'] who is one of the most sought after post players in the country in the 2026 class! [player_tooltip player_id='443366' first='Justice' last='Brown-Jones'] brings high level skill and can play four positions on the floor at any time! Eight grade stud [player_tooltip player_id='741652' first='Brianna' last='Norman'] is a young player but in her early career she has star written all over her game! But the best off-season attention to this team is no doubt [player_tooltip player_id='443354' first='Keira' last='Kilkenny'] who is arguably the best shooter in the 2027 class in the state of Virginia.      St. Margarets   The St. Margarets ia a team that no one knows about has some talent on this team! Loaded with international players [player_tooltip player_id='960468' first='Tara' last='Vulovic'] is a 6'2 stretch four player that has played at a high level overseas. [player_tooltip player_id='968349' first='Paula' last='Carrillo'] is a very crafty point guard that can shoot it from deep and run the show. [player_tooltip player_id='960465' first='Irati' last='Franco Dominguez'] a 6'0 CG is a player that can get on the radar of a lot of college coaches this high school season.
