Lauren is a crafty player for the Hazen Bison. She had an impressive freshman campaign averaging 14.4 points per game and earning herself a spot on the All-Region team. She also had 67 steals and 47 three point makes last season. Lauren does a nice job of creating havoc on the defensive end. Often times she is able to create steal opportunities for her teammates due to her tremendous ball pressure. She has a nice shot and is able to make deep 3 point shots if defenders go under on ball screens. Lauren will give the Bison a great chance at improving their record from last season.

Mickellyn was an All-Region selection last season as a sophomore, averaging 16 points per game and 8 rebounds per game. What stood out most to me about Mickellyn's game is her ability to shoot the three from deep. A lot of her 48 makes last season were from 2-4 feet behind the three point line. She has a nice rhythm to her shot and a good follow-through. Mickellyn was able to take the role of primary scorer last season and will be looking to continue to build upon a great sophomore season.

Rylee had a very impressive freshman season, being selected as an All-Region player and making the All-Tournament team at the Class A tournament. She averaged 12.5 points per game and had 69 steals, 73 assists, and 66 threes. She is incredibly skilled for her age. She has impressive footwork and is able to knock down very deep threes. Rylee is a future 1st-Team All-State team type of talent.

I have been watching Scout play since her first game as an 8th grader, where she dropped 20 points against a very talented Davies Eagles squad. I knew she would be a special player after witnessing that. She is so hard to keep away from the rim defensively due to her strength and quickness. She draws a tremendous amount of fouls putting pressure on other teams defensive strategies. She always shows up in big time moments as well. Scout will cap off an incredible career this season leading the Huskies to plenty of wins.

Scotti is another great player for South Prairie, along with [player_tooltip player_id='593657' first='Rylee' last='Routledge']. These two girls are going to make South Prairie a State Title contending team. Scotti averaged 15.4 points per game and had 54 steals, 71 assists, and 49 threes. Her ability to play both near the rim and stretch the floor on the perimeter is a tremendous asset to the team. She is also able to defend multiple positions. Scotti is also a future 1st-Team All-State Team selection.

Tylie was last year's State Tournament MVP, helping lead the Firebirds to the State Title. She is a scoring machine and a knock down three point shooter. She averaged 14 points per game and made 58 threes. Devils Lakes press game give their team a lot of opportunities to score in transition. Having Tylie available as a three point threat makes them even tougher to defend. Tylie is going to have another big time season and will give the Firebirds a great chance at repeating as State Champions.

There is so much talent at the Class A level, with a lot of these girls being underclassmen. It is going to be a lot of fun to see how they progress throughout their high school careers. Many of these girls will have opportunities to play at the next level.
