Prep Girls Hoops made a stop in the Midlands on Sunday morning to catch a few games from the Midlands Classic hosted by Southeast Elite Showcase. What teams did we watch while in attendance? Well, this might be a good time to jump on board and SUBSCRIBE to the site. Use the passcode "Swanny30" at checkout to save 30% off your first billing cycle. #RecruitThePalmettoState

[program_tooltip program_id='988463' first='Mosch' last='Ball'] Cruises to Victory:

[program_tooltip program_id='988463' first='Mosch' last='Ball'] defeated the Chapin Flight here today by a strong performance from [player_tooltip player_id='770242' first='Madelyn' last='Marsaa'] who led the charge with 24 points. The left-handed Marsaa saw good minutes this past season as a freshman at Summerville HS. Madelyn was able to get downhill at times while slashing to the cup. She connected on some short jumpers and floaters here today. Madelyn plays every possession to the fullest at all times while on the floor.

[player_tooltip player_id='925565' first='Samiah' last='Boatwright'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1092419' first='Dora' last='Jones'] both saw good minutes at the varsity level this past season. Boatwright played at Ashley Ridge HS while Jones a left-handed guard plays at First Baptist. Samiah plays very aggressive for her age and really looks to battle inside the paint area. Jones was able to pressure the ball on defense at times and push the temp up the floor.

[player_tooltip player_id='1229969' first='Lenaya' last='Ross'] is a member of the 2029 Palmetto State Class who attends Woodland M.S. and plays at Woodland HS. Ross a post player averaged 3.9 ppg and 4.4 rebounds this past season for the Lady Wolverines.

[program_tooltip program_id='988463' first='Mosch' last='Ball'] coached by former Duke player Sheana Mosch has a great group of young ladies on this program. [player_tooltip player_id='1229974' first='Wellsley' last='Roe'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1229971' first='Skylar' last='Gates'] both saw action at the varsity level last season. Roe a shooting guard attends Philip Simmons while Gates attends Oakbrook M.S. and plays at Fort Dorchester HS. [player_tooltip player_id='989336' first='Makenna' last='Reynolds'] and [player_tooltip player_id='926321' first='Mariah' last='Brown'] were not in attendance on Sunday while Prep Girls Hoops was in attendance.

[program_tooltip program_id='1230024' first='Lady' last='Angels'] Win Big:

The [program_tooltip program_id='1230024' first='Lady' last='Angels'] from the Upstate had no problems in a win today. The [program_tooltip program_id='1230024' first='Lady' last='Angels'] defeated the South Carolina Fever. The [program_tooltip program_id='1230024' first='Lady' last='Angels'] were led by the trio Chloe Stegall, [player_tooltip player_id='1230000' first='Bella' last='Bruce'], [player_tooltip player_id='1098651' first='Opal' last='Maralit'] and forward [player_tooltip player_id='1098650' first='Talia' last='Maxwell'].

Stegall found her groove early on knocking down some three-pointers from long distance. Chloe who attends Travelers Rest HS needs time and space for her shot. She does a great job of recognizing teammates for a quality pass every time. Chloe finished with 12 points in the win.

Bruce likes to play with her back to the basket down low for the [program_tooltip program_id='1230024' first='Lady' last='Angels']. Bella carves out space and moves well around the paint area. She was able to connect on a short jump-hook here today.

Maralit and Maxwell are teammates at Blue Ridge HS in the Upstate. Opal was great in the passing lanes today picking up some deflections on the way. She really does a nice job of playing the game very unselfish.

Maxwell is a physical post player who shows to have nimble footwork around the paint area. Cochran a guard from East Clarendon HS played the game in attack mode all day long. Cherish was able to times to finish through contact while driving to the bucket. A few other notables on this Fever team were [player_tooltip player_id='759610' first='Elaina' last='Whalen'] and [player_tooltip player_id='756930' first='Ciara' last='Cooke'].
