Here is a look at the Top Ten ranked athletes in the Kansas Class of 2026.

[player_tooltip player_id='351760' first='Asia' last='Lee'], 5'10”, CG, Olathe North, ‘26

Lee moves into the No. 1 position after previously being ranked No. 2 overall. Coaches cannot ignore her ability to score. She averaged 23.9 points during her junior season. She scored 91 points in three games in the Class 6A State Tournament. She can score in transition and is a dead-eye shooter from the free-throw line.

[player_tooltip player_id='719101' first='Macayla' last='Askew'], 6'0”, SF, Derby, ‘26

Askew is one of the best defensive players in the class and is now ranked No. 2 overall after previously being ranked No. 1. She has the ability to record a double-double every night. She is willing to outwork all opponents to grab rebounds. She is sneaky quick in the paint and is able to create space with her long wingspan. She averaged 13.8 points and nine rebounds per contest during her junior campaign.

[player_tooltip player_id='544017' first='Shamari' last='Lewis'], 6'0”, PF, Liberal, ‘26

Lewis moved up one spot in the rankings and is now ranked No. 3 overall. She averaged 17.1 points and 9.7 rebounds per game. She makes crisp passes and moves well in transition. She also finished with averages of 2.5 assists and 2.9 steals per game for the Liberal Redskins.

She was previously ranked No. 110 overall. She has the size and skills to play in five positions in an offense. She is a three-level scorer named to my All-Deck Team from the Kansas Prep Season.
