She has always been a dangerous perimeter shooter who can go on hot streaks at a moment's notice. She has good quickness, and she has improved as a ball-handler, plus she is making better decisions with the ball, finding open teammates consistently. She's also figuring out how to be effective at the defensive end of the floor at her size.

Layla has a very complimentary inside-out game, and I think she could be one of those kids in the Spring of 2026 who many of the good small colleges in the Midwest are locked in on. She has a strong frame, she's willing to be physical in and around the paint, and she can score it inside with a variety of finishes. At the same time, Layla can handle the ball in transition and around the perimeter, plus she sees the floor well and passes the ball like a point forward. I think she's the perfect type of skillful '4' a lot of schools will covet in eight months.

I believe I've said this before, but Kaylin turned a corner in June with her school team and hasn't looked back. She has always flashed skill and talent, but something about now being a leader and top player at Batesville has her dialed in, in a different way. She has a solid handle and a creative nature off the bounce, she can use her athleticism and length to get downhill and finish, plus she's an unselfish creator. Kaylin is a nice multilevel scorer who continues to make her perimeter jumper more consistent, and she can be an elite defender.

While playing "up", Izzy had a couple of games in Ohio at the end of July that made several coaches ask who she was. She is quick, fast, and feisty. She plays with great confidence and doesn't mind making the highlight play. She can handle it, get it where it needs to go, and she can act as a shot-maker as well. I also felt like Izzy did a solid job on the ball defensively. If she can just take her skill and talent and become a bit more efficient, I think she's going to draw a lot of elite small college interest when the Spring of 2026 rolls around.

I've been a fan of Courtney's and talked about her on this platform for some time now, and after an outstanding July, she's starting to see some offers roll in because of her play. She isn't overly demonstrative and just has a workmanlike approach to the game. She will get out there and grind from beginning to end, and she's one of those players who will do whatever her team needs from her. Courtney is long, athletic, and highly skilled. She takes care of the basketball, she has become a more consistent scorer, and she is a talented defender.

Eva has always been an intriguing prospect because of her length, athleticism, and balanced skillset. When she played "up" a little in the Spring, she was very good, and she continued that strong play throughout June and July. She is extremely long, but fluid, and end-to-end fast. She plays with a great motor, and she is willing to battle much bigger players inside the paint for rebounds and as a defender. Eva is naturally more of a wing, and she can step outside and knock down jumpers, get to the rim, or defend the perimeter as well.

Watching Etta quite a bit throughout June and July, you can see she has made a significant jump from her Freshman to her Sophomore year. She is much stronger, now, more naturally explosive, and she plays with a great deal of versatility. When she needs to, she can use her strength and ability inside the paint to defend and rebound. However, Etta is a wing skillfully and can handle it a little like a point forward. She's a multilevel scorer as well, and she can shoot it outside or get to the rim. I look for her to make another jump this season.

Emily's game has been built over time, one piece at a time. Last year, you could see her skillset really starting to take shape. She has touch outside, she's great in the mid-post, plus she was active on the boards, and she improved her handle. This year, it was about the physicality of the game, and she looks stronger and more explosive. Pair that with her skill and her long, wiry frame, and she consistently stacked efforts throughout this Summer. Now, she is starting to earn scholarship offers because of her versatile inside-out game.
