Saturday in Edmond brought a collection of top incoming freshman talent from the 405, 918 and all over Oklahoma. Here's an appetizer with a quick breakdown of six stand out prospects. From an elite talent, to a heady point guard, promising dynamic guards and a hustler. It's a good variety of the different type of player profiles that were present.

Over the next four years, there will be a lot of praise for Henderson's fantastic game. Especially because she's a skilled scorer with handles that honestly would rival a lot of college guards. But it wasn't just her brilliant scoring skills and offensive feel that made her shine bright on Saturday. She was a monster on the defensive end. Routinely picking off transition passes. Flying around to block shots on the perimeter or in transition. And even doing dirty work by matching up with one of the top forwards in attendance. She either fronted the opponent, deflecting intended passes. Or played strong from behind, leading to misses and then grabbing rebounds.

Henderson's killer instinct on both ends of the floor will take her a long way in her basketball career.

Heady point guard, first notable for being scrappy and smart during "3 on 3" play with quick passes. While also being a pest on the defensive end. Quick hands and quick feet, to either harass on the ball or simply be in the right position to cut off drivers. Suspect she'll draw her fair of share charges during her high school career. Type of prospect who does a lot of little things, which add to up a big impact.

Michalec might as well carry around her own bottle of windex. Because she cleans the glass with the best of them. Some of it comes to great positioning. And other times it's her fantastic tenacity and the mindset of "every rebound is mine". Her height, her impressive strength and her understanding of positioning is also apparent with the way she posts up on the block. Where she has a soft touch as a finisher. Looks ready to hit the ground running at the varsity level.

Dynamic driving guard. Walter caught the eye with her combo of speed and power for her age. Very tough to handle in transition, while also capable of blowing by defenders or powering through contact around the rim. Hits high school with impressive physical tools and an eye for scoring. Making for an intriguing duo with Henderson. Injecting ready to contribute talent, with upside into the Lady Bomber program.

Do it all lead guard, who kept battling and making plays. Good transition pitch aheads and reads. While also finding her spots to score. Comfortably draining threes or slipping her way to the rim. Good pace to her game and was one of the more entertaining players to watch. A potential bright star from the shady 580.

Energy always stands out and that was the case for Powell. Her effort was most apparent in how she ran the floor hard and attacked the glass. Especially on the offensive end. Always seemed to be the one to corral rebounds and then quickly score. Looks to be a better athlete then her older sister, Natalie (who's a very good senior shooter). There's room to grow on the skill side but enthusiasm and athleticism are a great starting point for the 918 standout's high school career.
