She stood out as a well-rounded player, particularly in the 5-on-5 session, where she displayed a strong ability to facilitate and see the floor. Her vision and decision-making allowed her to create scoring opportunities for herself and her teammates. She attacked the basket with confidence, showing the ability to finish over defenders, but also demonstrated great patience and poise by landing on two feet and kicking out to open shooters when the defense collapsed. Defensively, her quick feet made her effective in both helping and recovering, allowing her to disrupt plays without getting caught out of position. She showed discipline on closeouts and the ability to stay engaged throughout possessions, which made her a valuable presence on that end of the floor. In the 3-on-3 session, her activity without the ball was another strength. She moved well to find open spaces, positioning herself for easy scoring opportunities and keeping the defense on its heels. Her ability to play both on and off the ball highlighted her versatility and overall impact.

[player_tooltip player_id='756243' first='Macy' last='Loy'] is a taller, stronger guard who stood out with her physical style of play and ability to impact both ends of the floor. On the perimeter, she used her strength and size to her advantage, powering past defenders and creating separation to make plays. Once she got into the paint, Macy's physicality really showed—she finished through contact and proved she could score over both guards and forwards, giving her a versatile inside-out presence. Defensively, Macy's length gave her an edge against opposing guards during the 5-on-5 session. She used her reach to disrupt passing lanes, come up with steals, and turn defense into offense by finishing on the other end. Her activity, combined with her physical tools, made her a tough matchup throughout the day. As she heads into her junior season under a new head coach, Macy looks primed for a fresh start. With her strength, size, and defensive versatility, she should be a key piece in the rotation. The addition of [player_tooltip player_id='486537' first='Naja' last='Winston'] to the roster only strengthens the backcourt, and together, they have the potential to bring balance, toughness, and scoring punch to the team.

Crispus Attucks guard [player_tooltip player_id='1005025' first='Sevan' last='Walls'] put together an impressive showing at the showcase, standing out not only with her skill set but also with her intangibles. What truly separated her from many other players was her consistency in communication. Over the course of long 40-minute games, when fatigue often causes players to lose focus, Walls maintained a high level of energy constantly talking on both ends, encouraging teammates, and staying engaged with her showcase coaches. That leadership quality alone made her presence felt throughout the day. From a skill standpoint, Walls displayed an aggressive mindset offensively. She attacked the basket every chance she had, finishing strong at the rim and keeping the defense on its heels. Just as impressive was her ability to move without the basketball, consistently cutting into open spaces and putting herself in scoring position. Her hustle and effort were constant, making her one of the more dependable guards on the floor. As she returns to Crispus Attucks, Walls looks poised to be a key contributor this upcoming season. Her combination of leadership, communication, and attacking style of play makes her an impact player who can elevate those around her while providing steady production for her team.

During the showcase—particularly in the 5-on-5 session—Emily proved why she is such a strong option at the point guard position. She showed excellent court vision, delivering precise passes that consistently put her teammates in position to succeed. Her ability to facilitate the floor and control the pace of the game stood out, making her highly effective with the ball in her hands. As the day went on, Emily also revealed just how complete her offensive game is. She demonstrated the ability to score in multiple ways attacking the basket with confidence, knocking down shots off ball screens, and running in transition to finish at the rim. Her range extends beyond the arc, which forces defenders to respect her both as a shooter and a playmaker. That dual-threat ability makes her difficult to contain and gives her team a versatile weapon on offense. What makes Emily special is her balance between playmaking and scoring. She has the poise to run an offense, but also the aggressiveness to step up as a scorer when needed. As the starting point guard for a talented Silver Creek team, she will play a critical role in their success this season. With her ability to both facilitate and score, she should not be underestimated—Emily has the tools to help lead one of the top teams in Indiana.

[player_tooltip player_id='751119' first='Satyra' last='Scott'] is one of the promising young guards emerging from the Kokomo area, and she displayed her potential throughout the showcase. During the 5-man weave drill, she stood out with the way she ran the floor, covering ground quickly and consistently. Her effort and conditioning were evident, showing that she can sustain a high level of play over extended stretches an asset that will benefit her team in both transition offense and defense. Offensively, Satyra showcased a crafty skill set. She used effective ball fakes to get defenders off balance and create scoring opportunities for herself. Once she attacked the paint, she demonstrated poise and control, often landing on two feet to maintain balance and read the defense. From there, she not only looked for her own shot but also showed good vision by finding teammates in the opposite corner for catch-and-shoot opportunities. Her ability to balance scoring with facilitating made her a reliable presence with the ball in her hands. Last season, Satyra was the third-leading scorer for the Wildcats, but as she continues to grow into her role, she is positioned to become one of the top guards in the area. With her blend of conditioning, offensive creativity, and court awareness, she will play a key role in Kokomo's success this season and has the tools to be a leader on both ends of the floor.

[player_tooltip player_id='751066' first='Havana' last='Thompson'] plays with a smooth and composed style that makes her a difficult matchup for defenders. Her shooting form is clean, and she has a soft touch on her release that allows her to score efficiently from different spots on the floor. She consistently put herself in the right positions throughout the showcase, using smart movement and court awareness to make herself tough to guard. What makes Havana so effective is her versatility as a scorer. She showed the ability to attack the rim with confidence, finishing through contact, while also displaying range beyond the arc. That inside-out balance forces defenders to play her honestly, which opens opportunities for both her and her teammates. Her production last season at Decatur Central speaks volumes she was the team's second-leading scorer while also leading in assists and free throw percentage as just a sophomore. Entering her junior season, Havana is looking to build on that foundation and lead her team not only in statistics but also in the win column. With her scoring ability, court vision, and efficiency, she has the tools to take another leap and establish herself as one of the more impactful guards in her area.
