SCBCA Elite Camp: Perimeter Players with Rising Stock (Part 2)

This kid can make shots. She has great form and consistency. Ava appears to spend a lot of time in the gym working on her craft. She also has great size, good passing ability and a solid rebounder. Her quickness and shifty moves can slice up the defense in seconds. She has great court awareness as you can see by the way she passes the ball. She may be small, but she plays much bigger. She has already received two college offers and has proven to be one of the best in the state. Her length on the perimeter allows her to get her hands on a lot of balls that lead to deflections and stills. Then, she is more than likely getting two points at the other end. She finishes through contact and spends a lot of her time at the FT line due to her aggressiveness. Georgia can get herself open and make plays on the perimeter. She handles the ball well enough to create off the dribble or knock down shots beyond the arc. She has excellent length at the guard that allows her to score in multiple ways. In the open court she made versatile and athletic plays that often resulted in transition buckets. In the half court set she knocked down several pull up jumpers. She plays the game with such ease and poise. She is a three-level scorer that knows how to cut to the basket, create her own shot off the dribble and knock down 3s. It will be fun to watch her continue to grow and mature as a player.
