The updated class rankings for 2028 went live yesterday. Today, we'll look at the top ten kids in the class in two separate articles, as always. We'll look at some new additions in a class that went from 50 ranked players to 100, along with some stock risers in the rising sophomore class.

[player_tooltip player_id='879927' first='Londyn' last='Hollins']

The Wisconsin Lutheran guard missed most of her first high school season due to injury. However, she may be what helps take the Vikings over the top in Division 2 this winter. Hollins has shown she can create off the dribble and score the ball from anywhere on the floor. She looked confident in June and July and has the tools to make plays that few other guards can.

[player_tooltip player_id='917003' first='Yana-Aaliyah' last='Stevens']

The Janesville native is a talented athlete who can swing with the effort she puts in both ends of the floor. She did a solid job as the focal point of what the Cougars did last season, and with more talent in their ranks this season, Stevens may find another gear this winter. I love players like her who use their motor to make plays on both ends, and coaches at the next level will appreciate that about her approach to the game.

[player_tooltip player_id='877579' first='Sophia' last='M John']

The Brookfield native is another player who missed time in her first season of high school basketball for a few reasons. John may not have had the most dominant season that others had. However, what she showed as a post player should impress anyone. She is a physical kid who can play through contact around the basket and expects the best from herself. As she matures as a player, she will continue finding ways to improve.

[player_tooltip player_id='992501' first='Kinslee' last='Nelson']

The Oshkosh native is an athletic wing who has shown flashes in her first season at Oshkosh West. She can make impact plays with her athleticism on both ends of the floor. Her speed and explosiveness are two things that most teams don't have a player who can match. I thought she had a solid summer with Team Prime Nation and will be a player to keep an eye on because of her physical tools. Once she figures things out, Nelson will be a handful for teams to deal with in the FVA.

[player_tooltip player_id='1173652' first='Lillee' last='Jackson']

I'm eager to see what Pius looks like as a whole this coming season with the backcourt that graduated last season. Jackson has the tools to be a post presence that controls the area around the basket. Jackson is also a versatile player who can score from the perimeter or with her back to the basket. I'd love to see what she can do if the Lady Popes want to play through her in half-court offenses.
