Dickson came out on fire, and seeing her showing some electrifying moves to get by defenders had me smiling for several reasons, one of them her mom, aunt, and my daughters used to play outside against the boys growing up. Her "stop and pop" jumper looked good, so did her dropping shots "off balance" yet her acrobatic finishes need to be mentioned, along with her court vision

Gilmore is the straw that stirs the drink as she understands how to get hers "in the flow" as well as being able to flip the switch and score however she wants. Her body control after contact off the dribble keeps getting better as she's stronger, and contact is irrelevant. Her pull-up jumper was dropping; she saw the floor in the set as well as in transition, and her defense was solid, including playing the passing lane

Burns has turned into a double-double waiting to happen, yet she doesn't wait around to make things happen and set the tone. She's showing she's more than a 3-point shooter, as her midrange, along with attacking the basket from wherever she wants to score, all looked good. She rebounded on both ends, scored around the basket, putbacks included, and also did a good job seeing the floor, as well as defending

Neal rhymes with DEAL, and seeing her exploding off the dribble and finish strongly after contact, sometimes acrobatically, keeps getting better. Her frame absorbs contact like it isn't even there, yet observing her set the defender up to drop the jumper, use the step-back, or attack the rim is huge at her stage, as she's only a sophomore

Harmon had me drop that coveted and always accurate #D1Lock on her in the 5th or 6th grade, and something about her poise, how she did things instinctively, and the way she reacted in certain situations, against high school players, sold me. She's tough and has that "you can't stop me" mindset, so seeing her attack the rim strongly to finish or drop the mid to long-range gives you an idea. She also has good court vision and plays solid defense

Nickerson is a "long and athletic" guard, and that is also the base, but what I have always enjoyed about her game is that she's heady, plays under control, and takes good shots. She also sets her teammates up nicely for good looks, as she can control the tempo under pressure. She slices by defenders using the slight HEZ or just attacking hard off the dribble. Her jumper was also clicking, so was her defense
