Several players made a strong case, but one standout became the clear choice for this week's award. Those who had a dominant week worthy of consideration have been included in the article as Honorable Mention. Here are the girls who had an outstanding week 12. Last week, she became the most accomplished three-point shooter in MHSAA history, regardless of division. Keira passed the previous record of 311 and now stands at 317 career three-pointers heading into her final postseason tournament. Keira also owns the Saline school record for career assists with 333, averaging 6.2 per game. She scored 18 points (4/8 from 3PT) with seven assists, five rebounds, and two steals in a 62-37 win at Ann Arbor Huron. Keira posted 15 points (5/10 from 3PT), five assists, and three steals in a 52-31 win vs. Brighton. The mark of an elite shooter is efficiency, and she shot 50% from beyond the arc in both games. Howell came into Thursday's matchup against undefeated, nationally ranked Belleville as heavy underdogs. Lilly was unstoppable in the game, scoring at least four layups through fouls, attacking from the perimeter, blocking/disrupting shot attempts inside, and even swishing a three-pointer from the slot. Lilly ended the game with 24 points, 12 rebounds, and four blocks to lead Howell to a 59-51 KLAA Conference Championship victory over Belleville. The Highlanders finished 14-0 in the KLAA West and are the most dangerous D1 contender heading into the postseason. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
