Paisley, a sophomore point guard for Belleville—the top team in the state—continues to prove she can do it all on the court. Running the show with confidence and poise, she’s an exceptional passer who sees plays develop before they happen and consistently puts her teammates in scoring position. Her impact doesn’t stop on offense; she’s a defensive stopper who takes pride in shutting down opposing guards with length, quickness, and relentless energy. Paisley also rebounds extremely well for her position, using her long, athletic frame to track down boards and ignite transition opportunities. When she attacks downhill, she puts constant pressure on the defense, making her a true two-way difference-maker for one of the state’s elite programs.

Belleville brought out the best in a group of talented basketball players, and this sophomore guard was a major reason why. She played with confidence and expression, controlling the tempo of the game and impacting the floor in multiple ways.

What stood out most was her ability to push the pace in transition, creating scoring opportunities for her teammates while also being comfortable running the offense in the half court. From the point guard position, she showed poise, vision, and the ability to score when needed. She finished the night with 12 points, helping lead Belleville to an impressive victory over a nationally ranked opponent.

Paisley is an elite guard prospect, and she had an outstanding day for Belleville at the LBI Mitten Opening. Paisley dropped in a floater, changed directions with a shifty crossover to score a layup, and closed driving lanes with her fast lateral feet on defense. Paisley caught a pass with soft hands to score a layup, used a sweet fake-pass move to score again, and finished effectively inside off two feet. She forced helpside defenders to collapse and distributed the ball to open teammates. Paisley climbed the ladder to high-point an offensive rebound, ripped the ball strongly to keep it protected, then powered up in traffic off two feet. Paisley was active on the offensive glass and made unselfish extra passes for assists.

Paisley was nothing short of dominant at Wade’s World Fall Girls Showcase, standing out as the top performer in the gym. The athletic guard showcased elite skill and poise, effortlessly creating scoring opportunities for herself and setting up teammates with precision. Her ability to control the game on both ends and make difficult plays look routine separated her from the rest. With her combination of athleticism, vision, and confidence, Paisley looks primed for a breakout sophomore season at Belleville — and it wouldn’t be surprising to see her and her team make another deep run to the Breslin Center this winter.

Paisley is a freshman who can handle pressure situations against great teams–her poised play at the Breslin Center helped Belleville secure their first state title. Paisley started with a well-rounded 10 points, five rebounds, and four assists vs. West Bloomfield. In the Finals, she poured in another 10 points with three assists. Paisley beat defenders with her shifty drives to the basket, finished layups, converted free throws, and off-loaded accurate passes to teammates for assists. Paisley should have an even better sophomore season.

Paisley earned All-Expo honors at our Freshman Showcase last August and proved why she’s our top-ranked freshman point guard with Belleville on the big stage this season. Paisley stepped up to lead the Tigers to victory against Wayne Memorial in their second game with 33 points (4 3pt), seven rebounds, and four assists. She added 20 points, five rebounds, and four assists in their win versus Livonia Stevenson. Paisley uses her shifty handles and burst to beat defenders for layups or create high-percentage shots for teammates. She dishes passes on a rope with nine assists against Westland John Glenn, Dearborn Fordson, and Livonia Franklin.  Belleville won their second straight KLAA-East and KLAA conference title with a 21-1 record (13-1 Division). They are one of two favorites to make the state finals and are picked by many to win it all; Belleville finished as our top-ranked team in all divisions. The Tigers split wins against Wayne Memorial while earning additional statement wins against A.A. Fa. Gabriel Richard, Northville, DEPSA, East Kentwood, Parma Western, Muskegon, West Bloomfield, and Livonia Stevenson. Paisley averaged 11 points and five rebounds per game, earning the highest conference honor of KLAA All-Conference Select Team. She holds D1 offers from Central Michigan, Dayton, and Detroit Mercy.

Paisley came through for the Tigers during their 62-38 win against Wayne Memorial, scoring 33 points with five assists and seven rebounds. Her 12 points in the first quarter gave the team confidence and momentum that carried throughout the game. Paisley connected on four triples, won her individual battles to score off the dribble and created points for teammates with laser passes. Her outstanding performance put Belleville in a position to win the game and avenge their only loss. Paisley turned in another solid performance during Belleville’s 79-31 win against Livonia Stevenson, scoring 20 points with five rebounds and four assists. She finished the week with 53 points and 12 rebounds, averaging 11 points and seven assists per game this season. Paisley earned Feb. 9th-15th POTW honors with two great games; she excelled against an elite lineup with a division title at stake.

Paisley earned a top five ranking with her performances during travel and at our freshman showcase; she made a strong statement again with Belleville on Sunday at the LBI Mitten Opening Scrimmage. Paisley is relentless baseline to baseline with her defensive pressure and shifty change-of-direction dribbles. She constantly beat defenders driving downhill and converted a sweet fake pass layup with her right hand. Paisley finished off two after using a crossover to blow by the defense and dished passes to teammates when defenders collapsed on her drives.
