Savannah, a point guard for Team Synergy , was another playmaker who made her presence felt at MI College Tour II at Wayne State. She’s quick, athletic, and elusive with the ball, using her handle to keep defenders off balance and create space. Her constant energy and hustle showed on every possession, especially when pushing the pace in transition. Savannah did a strong job creating opportunities for both herself and her teammates, consistently making the right reads and delivering plays throughout the day.

Savannah sets the standard for effort and does everything in top gear. She has a second gear when attacking off the dribble, talks on the court, applies pressure on the defensive end, drives hard to the basket, looks to set up teammates and can knock down jumpers in the mid-range. She’s a high-motor guard with athleticism that I’m expecting to be a difference maker for Team Synergy 17U at the PGH MI College Tour on Saturday.

Savannah competed hard throughout practice–she’s an athletic guard with great potential. Savannah knocked down several mid-range jumpers from different spots during the shooting drills. She showed her toughness and determination by leading the team during sprints. Savannah only knows one speed–top gear. She scored layups going full speed, threw strong passes, and showed a burst off the dribble. Savannah did the little things coaches love, like calling for the ball with both hands ready to shoot and verbally directing teammates on the court. Savannah had the fastest feet going through cones during the agility drill and fast, strong dribbles–she did not stop working hard. She blocked a shot and created turnovers with her scrappy defensive pressure.

Savannah has rockets under her feet! Her speed is such an asset to her game, both defensively and with how she beats everyone down the court on fast breaks! Clutch baseline bucket at the end of the game! She changes the momentum of the game.
