We already took a look at the top five guards in the 2025 class, now here is part two where you'll find some elite playmakers at their positions. Check out part one here.

6. [player_tooltip player_id='362412' first='Lia' last='Hanson'] Issaquah

The Issaquah guard has good patience on the attack, exhibiting good ball control and waiting for the right moment to turn on the jets and get by her defender or drop a pass in with multiple defenders eyeing her. She times her first moves with flawless execution, lulling defenders one way and then changing gears with various moves to get by and into space. Her passing is another dynamic feature of her game, especially in pick-and-rolls.

7. [player_tooltip player_id='391868' first='Jayda' last='Lewis'] Garfield

Lewis is a high-motor two-way guard who pushes the pace in transition and gets the Bulldogs into their offense early. She checks a lot of boxes defensively; quick feet, ready hands, quick reactions, and a high work rate. On the other end, she does a good job holding defenders at bay with some moves to create space while reading the floor and looking for the right option. She has good strength for a point guard too and it shows when she knifes inside to the rim.

8. [player_tooltip player_id='592428' first='Ava' last='Marr'] Archbishop Murphy

Marr is a taller guard who can play both guard positions and has the strength to get to her spots and play under control while instigating action. She moves her feet well along the perimeter and can make those quick bursts on defense to quickly recover, using her length to wall off attacking guards. She does a lot of little things well too and knows how to get to space or create it for teammates. She'll be a key figure again for the Wildcats who should be a contender atop the 2A this winter.

9. [player_tooltip player_id='482561' first='Portia' last='Polo'] Newport

Polo is a tough point guard who's able to create off the dribble with some real quickness and speed. She has great top end speed that shows up while breaking backcourt pressure and splitting defenders to the hoop. She sets up her drives well with hard jabs, quick crosses, and shoots into gaps where she's an excellent paint finisher. She can hit the 3 too and really makes things move offensively for the Knights.

10. [player_tooltip player_id='589896' first='Izzy' last='Simmons'] Hermiston

Simmons is an excellent reader of the floor who shows good vision in transition and the halfcourt. She pushes the ball with eyes up, can make those long passes up the floor with touch and shows good placement on touch passes to the interior. The Hermiston guard also has a sweet stroke from 3-point, and can apply that soft touch to some nice runners as she attacks open space in the middle. She shows good speed, both to attack gaps and play passing lanes, and will be an engine again next winter for Hermiston.

Next up: [player_tooltip player_id='499170' first='Dylyn' last='Dress'] Kennewick, [player_tooltip player_id='375545' first='Jamison' last='Philip'] Ellensburg, [player_tooltip player_id='547615' first='Paige' last='Citron'] Lake Washington, [player_tooltip player_id='591765' first='Kahmiya' last='Bryant'] Garfield
