Bri was one of the top players and teammates I watched at The Expo. She was active defensively with her hands and did a good job jumping passing lanes for steals or deflections. She showed good control and footwork when attacking on two feet and created an offensive rebound opportunity with a strong putback on one impressive series by her. Bri also showed versatility by grabbing a steal and pushing the ball up the floor herself. Her ability to make winning plays and affect her team with or without the ball was on full display.

Brianna Jarquin Brianna Jarquin 5'9" | SG Western | 2028 State FL has been impressive this travel season and has caught our attention multiple times, along with college coaches picking up an offer from Nova Southeastern University (D2). With the confidence she’s added to her skill set and her already-strong work ethic, she will be a force on this Wildcats team. A confident shooter whether she’s knocking down shots off the catch, off screens, or off the dribble, is always hard to guard.

Brianna Jarquin Brianna Jarquin 5'9" | SG Western | 2028 State FL jumps from #56 to #40 and has been lighting up the floor while gaining the attention of coaches and players alike. She recently picked up a Division II offer from Nova Southeastern University after standing out at their elite camp, which featured players from freshmen to seniors. Not only did she shine among her age group, but she proved herself as one of the best overall at the event. Jarquin showcased the same strengths she displayed all travel season—knocking down shots off the catch, off the screen, and off the dribble. I foresee Brianna having a major season at Western, leading her team in multiple categories, and entering next year with a handful of offers.

Brianna showed a lot of versatility in Louisville this weekend. She was very active with her hands on defense and has nice length to make opponents frustrated. I was impressed with how well she handled the ball and set up the offense. Bri also hit some really nice pull-up jumpers which showed off her mid-range game which is an underutilized skill in today’s game.

Brianna makes a big jump in the rankings update as one of the most versatile hoopers in this class. She has good size and length which helps her a ton on both ends of the floor. Defensively, she uses her length to get into passing lanes with active hands. Offensively, she can use her dribble and passing ability to facilitate as well as score it from anywhere as another weapon in her impressive overall game.

Brianna Jarquin Brianna Jarquin 5'9" | SG Western | 2028 State FL has great mechanics, strong footwork, excellent dribble pace, and the ability to stop on a dime and change direction—making her a player you need to know about now. As she continues to gain confidence, she’ll become increasingly difficult to stop, especially with her high IQ and patience in one-on-one situations. If you overplay her, expect to end up in her spin cycle.
