has been one of the more impressive performers this spring. She is attacking with confidence, getting to the rim, finishing in transition, and showing advanced shot-making at all three levels. Wilson handles the ball well, knocks down the three, and is especially dangerous in the midrange where she creates space and rises smoothly. Around the basket, she finishes with either hand and adds touch, creativity, and “sauce” to tough angles. Her footwork stands out, as she consistently gains leverage on defenders and scores at a high clip. Right now, she looks polished, productive, and tough to contain.

plays with maturity in her game that immediately stands out to college coaches. She plays with poise and is always a steady presence on the court – she doesn’t rush, she doesn’t rattle, and she understands tempo. Wilson embraces her responsibilities as a true two-way point guard. Offensively, she gets her team organized and into sets. Defensively, she often takes on the opponent’s best guard, applying full-court pressure and setting the tone on that end. She competes with purpose. What makes her even more dangerous is her ability to get to her spots and knock down her deadly midrange jumper. She doesn’t force the action — she lets it come to her. Wilson impacts the game like a quiet storm — not always loud, but always impactful.

raised her stock in a major way with her performance in one of the top matchups of the week (Cardinal Mooney vs. Somerset Canyons). Wilson stepped up when it mattered most, knocking down two perimeter daggers at critical moments to give her team a much-needed lift while the game hung in the balance. Defensively, she competed on every possession, going toe-to-toe with some of the top guards in the state and more than holding her own. Her poise showed through as she handled pressure, defended well, and made smart decisions. Add Wilson’s name to the list of top 2028 guards. The Sophomore clearly belongs in the conversation. She impacted both sides of the floor, ran the point with confidence, and delivered a productive outing that included 12 strong points. Wilson is a rising guard whose stock is pointing up.

Emily has jumped up 20 spots into the Top 30 of the 2028 Rankings. She’s lethal in the mid-range with her quick pull-up and has a nasty spin move that’s tough to guard when she’s attacking the basket. Her handles and her quickness on both sides of the ball will be vital to the success of a new-look Cardinal Mooney team. They lose 4 of their top 5 scorers from a State Championship squad, so Emily will step into a much bigger role along with the other returners and new faces in Sarasota.

Emily is a joy to watch with her smooth game with the rock. Her change of pace and direction make her a difficult matchup assignment, especially with the elite hesi is her bag. She finished so well on both sides of the basket, and her left handed buckets were high level. I really appreciated how well she used the glass for points from 10 feet and in. This speedy 2028 is in for a big high school season.

enters the picture this year on a more consistent basis and she will definitely play a huge role in Cardinal Mooney’s return to Lakeland. Wilson has good speed, can shoot the rock, and with the talent around her, she could be a play maker. Her ability to handle the ball is going to open up her game and make life easier for her and her talented teammates. She could be making plays with the top front court in the State (Watts, Griffin, and Boone) when its all been said and done. Wilson is a hidden gem whose time has come.

While many players live behind the three-point arc, Wilson from prefers to live in the mid-range area. She routinely passes up open threes to take one-dribble pull-ups or smooth floaters in transition. Whether she’s leading the break or operating in the half court, Emma uses her athleticism and feel to find her sweet spots. Her shot mechanics are fluid, and she’s a natural scorer when the game is on the line.

Emily has made her way into the Top 50 of the 2028 rankings with one of the deepest bags in this class. She easily has one of the best mid-range games in the state as well. Her motor and change of pace with the ball in her hands are exciting to watch and tough to guard.

Emily was putting on a mid-range clinic on Saturday morning. She can put up points in a hurry with some nice moves in her bag with good body control. Her spin move was clean and created room for a few of her buckets. She was knocking down the pull-up, pushing it in transition with her dribble or the pass, and really looked impressive against older players.

showcased one of the best midrange games I’ve seen this Spring. Wilson passes up threes to get into the paint to pull-up for the “middy” . Wilson can have a defender draped over here and can rip to the midrange shot. Her efficiency in the midrange area was impress.
