She’s a steady veteran leader on Belleville, which is one of the most talented and exciting young teams in the state. Shelby’s game is marked by consistency and efficiency. In my opinion, she has tremendous upside as a player and prospect.

If that’s not enough, she can start and stop on a dime making it sometimes impossible to keep her contained. Shelby uses these skills to create for herself and her teammates.

Shelby is one of those players that quietly just keeps getting better. She’s a very solid and efficient ball handler that doesn’t waste time or dribbles. Shelby gets the ball from A to B and does it in the best way possible. She’s versatile in the backcourt, attacking the defense off the bounce, with her jumper and with the pass as well.

Shelby was a standout for sure at Run 4 The Roses. There’s just not much of anything to question about her game. She’s versatile in the backcourt, handling the ball well and distributing when needed as well as getting buckets and creating if her team needed it. Shelby shot the ball very well in Kentucky.

She’s currently ranked #72 in the class of 2024 by Prep Girls Hoops Michigan, but she has a legitimate argument to even higher. Shelby is a skilled guard that can score and distribute at a high level.
