Vivian can run the length of the floor- steal the rock on one end, and score on the other!  On the next play comes down and drains a three from the corner!   She can play from anywhere!  Man, she is showing her skills from all areas of the floor!  Shooting the 3 ball, mid range jumper, passing, you name it! Vivian, a guard for Mystics 15U S40, put together a standout performance Saturday at the MI College Tour Northwood, showing her ability to impact the game in every phase. With her length and athleticism, she attacked the basket with confidence, finishing through contact and converting tough looks in traffic. She also made plays for others, delivering sharp passes in transition to keep her team moving. Defensively, Vivian was just as effective, applying pressure on the ball, jumping passing lanes for steals, and even using her length to come up with blocks. Her all-around effort and versatility made for a great showing on the day.

Vivian has length, quickness, and potential for Armada to be excited about. She contributed in multiple areas for Team 8 at the Freshman Showcase. Vivian worked hard to deny passes into the low post and maintain good defensive positioning. She blocked a shot attempt, anticipated a miss, and sprinted in to grab the offensive rebound. Vivian jumped into the passing lane to deflect a pass, causing a turnover, and sprinted up the court in transition to give teammates a scoring option. She’s going to be a prospect to follow in the BWAC over the next four years.

Vivian is a long and athletic prospect who had a breakout performance for Mystics Black 2029 at the Select Super Showcase. She turned on the burners to chase down an off-target lead pass in transition, then scored the layup. Vivian sprinted inside to secure an offensive board and put extra English on her layup to score from a tough angle against a contesting defender. She blocked shots and made smooth transfers after catching passes to score layups with a soft touch. One of Vivian’s highlight plays was when she secured a defensive rebound, pushed the ball quickly using both hands the length of the floor, and finished her layup going full speed. Vivian will be a great addition to the Armada program, and we hope to see her again at our Freshman Showcase!
