Saturday was my first time seeing Callie play, and she made a great first impression. Callie looked long and athletic on the court, switched hands comfortably on her way to the basket, rebounded with a tenacious effort, and finished strong at the rim. She delivered one of the plays of the day. Callie attacked downhill with long strides on her way to the basket, drove into contact, and put unreal spin on the ball as she headed to the floor, converting the and-one layup. She tacked on the free throw to complete the three-point play. Callie crashed the glass, scored a strong put-back off two feet through contact, then tacked on the free throw. She racked up steals with her aggressive defense, corralled many offensive rebounds, sealed a defender inside to score off two feet, and showed great sportsmanship by helping up an opponent. Callie made unselfish extra passes and smart kickouts to open teammates off dribble penetration. She had an impressive day for NWO Elite 16U at the PGH MI College Tour II.

She does it all with the ball, and her game has blossomed since the last time I saw her. Great crossover, slick handles and with the ball in her hands, she can score in all three phases. Her footwork is super slick. One of Northwest Ohio’s best sophomores next season.

They say that the best way to impress for a ranking is to be seen in person, I saw her play twice in the fall and knew she had game! Her length and athletic ability were both notable back in the fall, and as her game progresses and gets older, I look for a much improved ball player. She can beat you both inside and out and has a good basketball IQ for her age. She debuts at #26.

This young lady…… straight up baller. She plays with such poise and confidence. You’ve never know she is only going to be a freshman, she is that good. Can’t wait to watch her continue to grow her game, unlimited ceiling for her.

This is the first time I’ve seen her play, she’s long and athletic with the ability to handle the basketball and score in multiple ways. Looks like she’s also coming to the Toledo Top 64 so I’ll get another good look at her skillset in a couple weeks! One of the better freshman in her region!
