Bross had a huge game for CFE against a very good HER Elite 17U EYBL team. Bross showed off very impressive athleticism to go with her excellent size and length by blocking multiple shots throughout the game. Bross also did an excellent job contributing to the near upset on the boards where she was not afraid of contact or to get physical in a crowded lane of future high level college players. Bross showed her skill by stepping out to the perimeter and knocking down a very nice three on the wing in that game and shot the ball very well from the line. She was also effective slashing to the basket. Ellie is a big time stock riser for me coming out of this event.

Ellie Bross Ellie Bross 6'1" | SG Calvary Christian-Clearwater | 2027 State FL stood out on the big stage against some really talented matchups at the Sunshine Showdown. She demonstrated her ability to produce both inside and out. On the inside, she showed some physicality and was able to get downhill and score effectively. Bross can put the ball on the floor and attack from the left or the right. In the paint, she used her length, demonstrated good footwork, and showed an ability to score inside. She hit the boards hard and came away with some impressive rebounds. Bross also showed versatility, knocking down a jumper from beyond the arc. Her length, impressive play and combination of interior scoring and perimeter touch were eye-opening and immediately made her a player to watch this travel season.

Ellie Bross Ellie Bross 6'1" | SG Calvary Christian-Clearwater | 2027 State FL has great length and skill and she gave Cardinal Mooney fits in Round 1 of the playoffs in defeat. Bross connected on 4 three pointers and also did damage in the paint. She killed it in the mid-range area and also finished consistently around the rim. In addition to scoring inside, Bross produces in the paint with defense and on the boards. Once coach stated she was a beast and a problem in round 1 of the playoffs.

Despite drawing face-guard attention, Ellie found ways to impact the game on both ends of the floor. She controlled the glass, and consistently finished possessions while creating extra opportunities. Offensively, she cut well through the lane and knocked down a smooth jumper in the paint while also showing range as a capable three-point shooter. When attacking off the bounce, she displayed good body control with a crafty scoop finish at the rim. Defensively, Ellie was active jumping passing lanes, and she pushed the pace in transition by delivering several sharp outlet and advance passes that kept Calvary on the attack.

Elli is a tall, versatile guard who impacts the game on every level. Defensively, she can guard positions 1 through 5, using her size and mobility to disrupt opponents. Offensively, she can knock down shots from the perimeter, finish strong at the rim, and makes smart, timely cuts without the ball. Her ability to play within the flow of the game while doing the little things stands out. With her skill set and physical tools, Elli has tremendous upside and long-term potential.

Ellie has jumped into our Top 50 after an impressive high school season and good start to her travel basketball season. Her versatility allows her to really stretch the defense as she plays baseline to baseline. She has a long, slender frame that she uses to shoot over top of defenders or contest shots on the defensive end. One of her best attributes is her poise and how much control she plays with in any situation. Ellie still has even more potential as one of the best shooters in her class from deep and mid-range.

Ellie, a versatile 6’0 guard from the Class of 2027, impressed as a leader for her PHS Elite 17U team this tournament. Despite her age, she played beyond her years, impacting the game on both ends of the floor. Ellie stretched the defense with her catch-and-shoot ability and consistently attacked off the bounce against pressure. She stayed active every possession, making key plays in transition and on the boards. Her high motor and feel for the game stood out, especially in critical moments. Ellie continues to prove she belongs on the big stage and is a name to watch moving forward.

Ellie showed a lot of leadership and communicated well on Friday night. Her length and size will make her a great prospect for the college level. She shot the ball well from deep, blocked a few shots, and made some smart passes to her teammates. Ellie runs the floor well and is clearly one of the top 2027’s in Pinellas County and all of Tampa Bay.

Bross has consistently climbed the PGH rankings and is poised to make a big jump this travel season. After finishing her high school season averaging 22.9 PPG, she’s set to keep dominating on the circuit.

Ellie has played a pivotal role in Calvary’s winning season this year. She is very decisive when putting the ball on the floor, whether she is looking to shoot or pass. Ellie will be a consistent stock riser in the coming years, and there is no ceiling to where her game can go.
