Jianna Holmes plays excellent on both ends, and she maintains the same composure throughout any game.  She knows how to slow down offenses for set plays, and she can push the tempo getting the ball up the court for some fast breaks.  She creates her own space making shots all over the court off the dribble.  She’s a nuisance on defense, too, playing tough against her opponents making it difficult for them to get by her.

Jianna Holmes does a nice job patiently waiting for the floor to open up and plays to develop.  She does a nice job attacking the gaps making defenders collapse while she moves the other direction.  She seems to get a read on how the defense will play the ball, and she uses that information to make her move getting buckets for her team.  She makes her presence known on defense hustling back and preventing fast breaks.

Jianna Holmes Jianna Holmes 5'8" | PG Winston Salem Christian | 2024 State NC handles the ball well making plays and getting by her opponents.  She is so smooth with the ball maintaining composure throughout every game and finding her open teammates for the shot.  She’s tough when it comes to face guarding her opponents stripping the ball away.  She’ll even get inside to grab some rebounds, too, grabbing them to go and push the tempo up the court.

Jianna Holmes Jianna Holmes 5'8" | PG Winston Salem Christian | 2024 State NC is always on the move offensively finding the open areas of the court moving with the ball to pull up for her jumpers or moving without the ball to create some room for her teammates.  She plays with the same composure throughout any game no matter what kind of competition she is going against showing that she can handle anything.  I’ve seen teams even try to double team her when she caught the ball in an attempt to slow her down, but she would still maneuver around them with ease.

Jianna Holmes Jianna Holmes 5'8" | PG Winston Salem Christian | 2024 State NC has had a dominant March and April playing at a high level against some very touch competition even leading to some teams trying to double team her to slow her down.  She attacks the basket with ease knowing how to get open and create her own space, or she makes the dish easily to her teammates for their own points.  She plays with the same calm composure throughout every game knowing how to attack gaps and get some points when her team needs it most.

Jianna Holmes Jianna Holmes 5'8" | PG Winston Salem Christian | 2024 State NC made a nice cut to the basket attacking the rim scoring the first four points.  She seemed to have her way attacking the basket the whole game, and you could see why the opposing coach wanted to try to double her as his defensive strategy.  She had a nice spin move in isolation to score her points.  She did a nice job sliding into the openings without the ball being ready to knock down her shot from deep.

Jianna Holmes plays much bigger than 5’8  she is relentless with her effort going to the basket! She doesn’t force up bad shots and knows when to kick it out to her teammates. Jianna is a true play maker and her skills set is a big part to help her team’s offense. She is no slouch on the defensive end and is very good at anticipating  jumping into lanes to grab steals.  

Jianna Holmes did whatever it took to get to the rim and score showing some nice adjustments on her way up to make the points.  She penetrated the paint finding her open teammate for her own points.  Her play making for others was fun to watch as she drew her opponents towards her to open up the court for others.

Jianna Holmes Jianna Holmes 5'8" | PG Winston Salem Christian | 2024 State NC made some sharp passes up the court going in between opponents to whip her teammate the ball.  She read her opponents well jumping into passing lanes to grab steals, too.  She certainly controlled the tempo for her team knowing when to increase her speed or slow things down.
