Makenna Clark Makenna Clark 5'7" | PG Ankeny Centennial | 2023 State IA let her name be known during her teams state play-off run this post season, leading her team past #2 Waterloo West with a team high 20 points and into the semi-finals games. Sadly, they would fall just short in the semi’s to the Johnston Dragons by a final of 42-35. Clark is a guard who moves around and does a lot of nice work on the offensive side of the ball. She is a player who can fit in a lot of systems as the 2 or 3 guard and even play the 1 in a bigger lineup. I would say her natural position is a combo guard in general because of her versatility but it all depends upon what system she is trying to fit into. The Ankeny Centennial Jaguars had a nice run this year and left it all on the floor, they should be proud, Clark included. She was a real leader and difference maker in all of her teams games this season.

Makenna Clark Makenna Clark 5'7" | PG Ankeny Centennial | 2023 State IA had herself a night on Tuesday evening with a big game in a victory against #4 Valley high school. Clark scored 12 points total on 5/11 shooting from the field and also recorded an assist or two on the way to the win. Describing the type of game she has would be best summed up by her hard-work and dedication to her craft. She is always the first on the floor for a loose ball, cheering her teammates on, or trying to contribute to the team aspect in some sort of way. With that being said she is a very solid player in her own right and she has had some games this year that have shown that off. I would say in general Clark hasn’t been covered as much as she should be up until this point and I expect that to change moving forward. A big part of the reason for this is just how many great individual players there are in this Centennial program. They have some of the top star power throughout all the high school grades/teams in Iowa and they show it off each night. You really never know what you are going to get other then the main contributors of this program in Jaeden Pratt Jaeden Pratt 5'10" | CG Ankeny Centennial | 2025 State IA , Kennedy White, and Mya Crawford Mya Crawford 5'7" | SG Ankeny Centennial | 2025 State IA doing their thing while others step up to be vital pieces in their hunt for a state championship.
