As we change directions and move toward the high school season, it’s time to welcome in a new class of Freshmen. In June, we introduced our first ever list for the Class of 2025. At that time it was a watchlist of 55 young ladies, and two of them have already moved out of Indiana for their schooling. Yesterday was the release of the update for the Class of 2025. In addition to those 53 remaining girls, we added another 22 to give us 75 in total, but we separated it into a Top-15 and a watchlist of 60 additional prospects. Below is a look into why our Top-15 was selected as such. Please keep in mind this is a fluid process, as players grow and develop physically, emotionally, and skillfully. Some will commit a great deal of time to their game over the next four years, while others might turn their attention to other interests. But in the end, we felt like these 15 stood out at this point in time.
The Power…4?
I’m sure many of you have heard of the term “Power-5” school as it relates to college athletics. This term refers to the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC), the Big Ten Conference (B1G), the Big 12 Conference, the Pac-12 Conference, and the Southeastern Conference (SEC). Well, the four girls at the top of our 2025 list… Kira Reynolds Kira Reynolds 6'4" | PF South Bend Washington | 2025 State IN , Jaylah Lampley Jaylah Lampley 6'2" | SF Lawrence Central | 2025 State IN , Laila Abdurraqib Laila Abdurraqib 5'7" | PG Lawrence Central | 2025 State IN , and Maya Makalusky Maya Makalusky 6'3" | SF Hamilton Southeastern | 2025 State IN …have all received multiple “Power-5” scholarship offers before playing a single high school game. Below is a quick look at each of these prospects who, collectively as a group, have stood out from a recruiting standpoint.

(2023) at Washington. Kira has a little of both of her sisters in her game, but she also already has more height and length than either of them. She is a fluid forward who runs the floor well, she can post inside and use her height, but she is also skilled in the mid-post and can score it facing the basket.

Jaylah Lampley

Jaylah is another elite National talent with strong genetics on her side. Her mother was the Gatorade Player of the Year in Ohio in 1993, a star at Purdue University, plus she played professionally for several years. Jaylah has an athletic frame with broad shoulders and great length. She is a smooth and fluid athlete, she has ball skill and can be a point forward, plus she has the ability to make shots inside or out.
#3 –
Laila Abdurraqib
Laila

Laila is as tough as they come at the point guard position. She has a solid to strong frame, some length, and she’s a quick/fast and explosive athlete who can match up with any number of other point guards. Offensively, she is tough to keep out of the paint, and that’s priority number-one. If you can manage to do that, she can make shots outside. Defensively, she is an absolute terror on the ball.

(2023) in the Royal lineup this Winter, giving them yet another perimeter threat offensively. Maya is a little taller than Riley, with room to grow, plus she is a fluid athlete. She has always been a dangerous perimeter shooter but is starting to be more dynamic and aggressive off the dribble. Her mother played at Villanova, and if Maya ever gains her defensive intensity, watch out.
#5 Through #15
The remainder of the Top-15 took me quite a bit of time to sculpt, as there were probably 20-25 girls to legitimately consider for those 11 spots. This is one of those classes where there are so many similar prospects, that it just comes down to their productivity when we were able to get eyes on them this Spring and Summer. Again, this will be a very fluid list, and after going through this process with the 2024 group last year, close to half of that initial Top-15 group has changed in a year’s time. Below is a quick look into each of those remaining young ladies in our Top-15 for the 2025 class.

, 5-8 CG, Noblesville H.S.
Meredith is a long, fluid, skillful guard who does a little of everything for her teams. She can handle the ball and initiate offense, she can create off the bounce, and she can knock down the occasional perimeter jumper. I also like her toughness and competitive fire.
#6 –
Monique Mitchell
Monique
Mitchell

South Bend Washington | 2025

, 5-10 PF, South Bend Washington H.S.
Monique is a talented athlete with a wiry-strong frame, great length, and some bounce. But what stands out is her nonstop motor, her hustle in transition, the way she attacks the boards, and how she makes plays defensively. As she continues to refine her game, watch out.
#7 –
Hadley Crosier
Hadley
Crosier
5'9" | CG
Lanesville | 2025
State

, 5-9 CG, Lanesville H.S.
Hadley is a very intriguing Southern Indiana prospect with a lot of upside. She has good length, a wiry-strong frame, and she’s a nice athlete in all directions. She can handle the ball and run offense, but she’s such a natural attacking scorer, plus she can hit shots at all three levels.
#8 –
Leah West
Leah
West

Greensburg | 2025

IN
, 6-0 PF, Greensburg H.S.
Leah is one of the best power players right now in this class. She has the strength, physicality, and toughness to be a post, but I think her bounce and ability to run the floor will allow her to develop into more of a power forward, once she builds that mid-post skillset a bit more.
#9 –
Addison Baxter
Addison
Baxter
5'9" | PG
Columbia City | 2025

, 5-7 PG, Columbia City H.S.
Addison has really good length for a player her height, she is quick/fast and shifty, and she plays with an outstanding motor. She has incredible ball skill for a younger player, and her vision and understanding of the game allow her to make plays other kids just don’t see.
#10 –
Gabby Spink
Gabby
Spink
5'9" | CG
Gibson Southern | 2025
State
IN
, 5-8 CG, Gibson Southern H.S.
Gabby is one of the more naturally athletic guards in this class, and it allows her to do things both on and off the ball. She has speed and quickness, she can create off the bounce and find teammates, plus she’s a multilevel scorer. I also like that she’ll get after it defensively.
#11 –
Aubrey Crockett

(2022), but she should grow a few more inches. Aubrey is a very skillful guard who can play on or off the ball. She is a very accurate perimeter shooter, she has length, and she is just smooth offensively.
#12 –
Ryiah Wilson
Ryiah
Wilson
5'8" | CG
South Bend Washington | 2025
State
IN
, 5-7 PG, South Bend Washington H.S.
Ryiah is another athletic talent joining the Washington squad. She has an extremely long, wiry-strong frame, she has cat-like quickness and often disrupts ball-handlers and passing lanes defensively, plus she can create for others off the bounce or finish at the basket.
#13 –
Allison Scheu
Allison
Scheu
5'10" | SG
Fishers | 2025
State
IN
, 5-9 CG, Fishers H.S.
Allison is a strong, athletic, aggressive, attacking style of scorer. She can get downhill with either hand, absorb contact, and finish inside around the basket. She can handle it some and run offense, plus she’ll pursue rebounds and defend multiple positions with effort.
#14 –
Brooke Winchester
Brooke
Winchester
6'0" | PF
Warsaw Community | 2025

IN
, 5-11 PF, Warsaw Community H.S.
Brooke is transitioning between positions right now, playing more comfortably around the perimeter each time I see her. She has some length, an athletic frame, and she moves well. As she continues to develop her handle and outside shot, she’ll be more of a small forward.
#15 –
Nevaeh Dickman
Nevaeh
Dickman

Fishers | 2025

, 5-11 PF, Fishers H.S.
Nevaeh made this list because I really like her upside, and I like how much she’s improved in the short time I’ve had to see her play. She has a strong frame, she will use physicality inside, but she’s also a nice athlete with some bounce, and she can play in the mid-post.
