Yesterday we released the Winter rankings update for the Class of 2025. There were more than 25 new additions, plus a few players who raised their “stock”, so to speak, so subsequently there was some movement throughout the list. I wanted to take this time to circle back and address all of the ranked prospects, position by position. Below is a look at 41 point guard prospects who make up 27.3% of the rankings this time around, with analysis on a handful to “keep an eye on” detailed at the bottom.

KEEP AN EYE ON:
Despite a tough start to the season for the Greyhounds, Izzy has been outstanding game-in and game-out. She has knocked down 29 3-pointers in 13 games at a 36% rate. She recently scored a career-high of 28 points against Lawrence Central, while making seven treys in that contest. She is tough-nosed, quick/fast, and plays with an outstanding motor. It looks as though she has really come into her own this season, and once they get through the year, Carmel fans should be excited about the next two with Izzy still in the backcourt.
There aren’t too many people statewide who know much about Emma, which is sad, because this kid can go. She has a fairly long, wiry-strong, athletic frame, she moves well in all directions, and she plays with a quiet toughness. She can score the ball at all three levels and play either guard spot, but she handles, passes, and has the awareness of a Senior guard. This year for Parke Heritage she has come out on fire, averaging 18.5 points, 7.7 rebounds, 3.9 assists, and 3.5 steals per game through 13 games. She should have her share of college suitors soon enough.
After a Freshman season that saw Gabby average 13.9 points, 3.4 rebounds, 4.5 assists, and 2.1 steals per game, she has missed much of the 2022-2023 season to date. After starting the year 5-3, the Lady Titans have welcomed Gabby back the last two games (two wins), and it’s just a matter of time before she lights up the scoreboard once again. She is strong at her size, athletic, and can make plays for herself or teammates. She is a true, multilevel, offensive weapon. Defensively, she does a nice job of using her quickness and her strength on the ball.
