<p>-We start in Dike, where the Class 1A No. 1 Algona Bishop Garrigan visited 2A top-ranked Dike New Hartford. The Golden Bears knocked the host Wolverines from the ranks of the unbeaten with a 62-46 victory. They improved to 20-1, while Dike-New Hartford fell to 19-1. </p>

<p>The state's top-ranked 2023 recruit, [player_tooltip player_id='63019' first='Audi' last='Crooks'], was cooking. She helped Bishop Garrigan build a 19-8 lead after one quarter, and is averaging 31.7 points and 14.3 rebounds in '22-23 on her way to likely winning player of the year honors. <p>-Class 2A No. 4 Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont played host to 1A 15th-ranked Martensdale-St. Marys Tuesday night. The home team pulled out a 65-58 victory fueled by a 23-12 fourth quarter. Junior [player_tooltip player_id='878164' first='Aliya' last='Wagamon'] and Ava Eastlick, a sophomore shared high-scoring honors for the winners with 17 points apiece. Sophomore [player_tooltip player_id='873148' first='Molly' last='Shafer'] added 15 for the Rockets, and her twin sister, [player_tooltip player_id='817706' first='Kate' last='Shafer'], grabbed 15 rebounds, blocked four shots and dished out nine assists without a turnover.</p>
