Continue ReadingToday we released the Spring rankings update for the Class of 2025. There were 12 new additions in total, plus a few players who raised their “stock”, so to speak, so subsequently there was some movement throughout the list. We have also changed formats to make rankings more exclusive, therefore at this time we are ranking just 75 players in the Class of 2025, with the rest being placed on a watchlist of 85 players. At some point in the near future, those 75 ranked spots will expand to 100. That will likely either be June 1st or September 1st. In the meantime, I wanted to take this time to circle back and address all of the listed prospects, position by position. Below is a look at 42 small forward prospects who make up 26.3% of the rankings this time around, with analysis on a handful to “keep an eye on” detailed at the bottom.

NEW ADDITIONS:
Brynna Collins Brynna Collins 5'7" | SG North Knox | 2025 State IN , North Knox – Solid/strong wing guard/forward. Can attack North/South or knock down open rhythm jumpers. Nice motor, too.
Bren Hill Bren Hill 5'11" | SF South Knox | 2025 State IN , South Knox – Nice combination of height, length, and skill. Can play at all three levels but is probably best in the mid-post.
Divine Woods Divine Woods 5'7" | SF Michigan City | 2025 IN , Michigan City – Long, wiry-strong, and very fast & athletic wing. Can make jumpers but much more effective off the bounce.
Lydia Wright Lydia Wright 5'7" | SG Silver Creek | 2025 IN , Silver Creek – Hard-working, tough-nosed wing. Can shoot it from the perimeter but will battle inside and make hustle plays.

KEEP AN EYE ON:
Nina is an extremely long, wiry, and fluid athlete. She is incredibly quick-footed and can even defend most point guards by using her quick feet and her length. She gets a lot of deflections, and she is a nice pursuing rebounder. Offensively, she started to show growth this Winter, as she was stronger attacking the basket, and she is working on her perimeter jumper. If she can continue gaining strength and prove to be a consistent scorer at all levels, she has the talent and potential for the next level.
Highlights
Maine was on a very deep and experienced Lady Royal squad this past Winter, but she still managed to carve out a few minutes here and there to build experience. She has a strong frame, she’s a solid North/South athlete, and she plays with a really nice motor. She is willing to be physical, and she outrebounds her size. Over the last couple of years, she has worked on becoming more dynamic handling the ball, and she has made her jumper more consistent.
Lauren missed the early portion of the season due to injury, but she has shown flashes of a high ceiling, and she is primed for a really nice Spring grassroots season. She has tremendous length, she’s a fairly fluid athlete, and she has nice touch around the perimeter with range beyond the line. She looks like she is trying to drive it more and be a complete player, which is good, but she still needs to do a lot of work building strength. I also like her potential as a defensive player, because of her length.
