Discover which rising stars made the list in this updated rankings in the 2025 class.
One of the up and coming point guards in the state of Oklahoma. She is savvy with the ball in her hands and operates at the lead guard position at the highest level. Shifty handles but remains under control with her head up directing traffic and leading her team. She is a player that thrives when attacking the basket – finishes at the rim, a floater over the defense, and pulling up in open space for the jump shot. She sees the floor really well and distributes the ball fairly to teammates. She shoots the outside shot at a high level and she continues to improve and get better.
Seleh is a player that has improved tremendously over the last few months. She is a player with loads of potential and continues to increase her production and value on the court. She has an attack mentality at the point guard position, has size to see the floor, and makes good decisions. High-basketball IQ, competitor on the court, and an elite shooter from outside. She led her Norman North team to the 6A state tournament – she was the standout player and displayed that she is primed and prepared to perform on the big stage.
Highlights
Creative, twitchy guard with good handles at the point guard position. Plays with her head up and looks for the right play, teammate, and opportunity to score. Preslee is a smart player, has a basketball mind and it shows on the court when playing. She can shoot the basketball from deep and with confidence. She handles pressure and can get out of trap scenarios and has the sense to pass out. She is a willing passer and uses her creativity to make others better. If she continues to improve her game, she will be a solid PG at the next level.
Laynee is a skilled forward that plays with passion and heart. She is a gym-rat that works on her game and it’s clear to know that when you watch her play. She has a consistent mid-range game and can also stretch the floor with her ability to shoot. She is aggressive attacking the basket and can finish in a variety of ways. She has proved to be a consistent leader and contributor at Fort Gibson and led her team to the 4A State tournament in the 2022-2023 school season. She has loads of potential and if she continues on her current pace she will be one heck of a player at the next level.
Josie has proved all season that she is one of the top players in Oklahoma’s 2025 class. She has size and strength, separating her from most players and her will to compete and win makes her special. She shoots the ball at a high clip from beyond the 3-point line and has proved to be a threat from deep. She is a competitor and doesn’t settle for shots, she attacks the basket and can find other ways to contribute to the game. She rebounds with the best of them and also works on the defensive end on and off the ball. Josie is a player that is just getting started and has the potential to be great for sure.
