There will be a number of changes to this list over the coming months and years, as we learn about new prospects, and as current listed prospects improve their “recruitability”. While we don’t have anyone truly ranked at this time, I did want to specifically mention five young ladies who stand out to me at this point in time.

– Hannah has long been recognized as one of the better prospects in Indiana’s 2027 class, and rightfully so. She has good size and strength, she’s a solid all-around athlete, and she has a mature, versatile game. She can handle the ball and run offense for her teams, she can get to the rim and finish, plus she’s a very good perimeter shooter when set and in rhythm.

– I’m guessing many of you are unfamiliar with Malika, partly because of where she goes to school, but also because she plays grassroots ball in Illinois. She is a talented athlete with speed and quickness, she can score the ball at all three levels, and she has the potential to become an elite defender. Malika should make an instant impact on a Merrillville team with good forwards.

– Hallie is the younger sister of 6-0 Purdue Fort Wayne Freshman Renna Schwieterman, so Hallie has some growth potential. She is extremely long, fluid, smooth, but also North/South fast. She can handle it and create offense, but she’s also a very good perimeter shooter with some range. She is an effortful defender, and as she gets stronger, she could be difficult to defend.

– I don’t know what it is about Zionsville guards, but they seem to all be tough and physical. McKenzie falls right in line with that group, and she should get an early opportunity as a Freshman. She has a fairly strong frame, some length, and she plays with a tremendous motor. Once she completely adapts to the speed/size of the Varsity game, she should be consistently productive.
Kendal Hill

– I’ll be curious to see how much Kendal grows, as she has a 2025 sister in the 6-0 range. Kendal is a nice athlete, she has fairly broad shoulders, length, and she plays with a motor. Like most young guards, she plays 100 MPH all the time, so once she learns how to pick her spots and change speeds better, she’ll be very effective. She can handle, shoot, or score attacking the basket.
