Adey dropped multiple three pointers while I was watching her against Pikesville and if she can keep up her solid shooting she will be just what Oakland Mills needs to open up the floor and possibly get to the state finals
When watching Georgetown Day it’s clear that Cai is the leader of this team. Her teammates look to her for leadership and she gives up her body on every play. With her sister on the team it will give them more depth. Cai’s impact will determine how far the Grasshoppers can make it.
Madison has the talent to take over games. Can she take over each night? CMIT can win games this year but if they want to go deep in the post season Madison will be the key.
The PG County title is up for grabs with no true front runner. The Pumas have lost a lot to graduation and transfer so Kennedy will have a lot of responsibility on her shoulders. She has Amina McCall by her side but Kennedy will be the focus when teams start applying the pressure.
LaBrea is the main cog on a Crusaders team that has a lot of potential. They pass the eye test walking in the gym looking like a college team. The have a lot of talented individuals but will need LaBrea’s help to make them grow into a team. This team will be fun to watch as the season goes deep LB will be the key to how deep it goes.
Bailey led St. Mary’s Annapolis to an undefeated season last season. Now the league responded by moving them to the A Division. Bailey is up for the task but now teams are planning for her. She knows what she needs to do and her teammates will feed off of her energy. I’m not sure that they can go undefeated again but if they can get better each game another championship is certainly reachable.
