Daviess County sits at 11-5 on the season and are currently one of the top teams in region 3. Leading the charge is their super sophomore Kennedy Lane Kennedy Lane 5’7″ | SF Daviess County | 2026 State KY who is in her first season with the Lady Panthers. She is having an incredible year, she leads the team in scoring averaging 17.3 PPG, while shooting 35.4% from deep making 2.2 triples a game. Lane is a high volume shooter that can go off for 20+ points on any given night. She has multiple 25+ point scoring games where she hit 5+ three-pointers in the contest.
Anna Tinelli Anna Tinelli 5’7″ | PG Bullitt East | 2026 State KY is an absolute gamer on the court and her style of play makes her very exciting to watch. Tinelli is a shifty guard with a good handle that allows her to get past defenders and into the lane where she finds creative ways to finish at the rim. She is a confident shooter, playmaker, shot creator, and a gifted passer that knows how to thread the needle. Tinelli put on a show last week against PRP finishing the game with 27 points, 3 rebounds, 4 assists, and 3 steals.

Anaysia Bagwell Anaysia Bagwell 5’7″ | CG Christian County | 2026 State KY is dropping a team-leading 18.8 PPG for Christian County High School. Bagwell is an explosive and athletic guard with a very special skill-set. She is deceptively quick, and can change direction efficiently on her way to the rim, where she either scores through contact inside or puts up a nice floater in the lane. Bagwell also shows a silky smooth shooting touch from 3 and has a knack for getting to the free throw line.
Jaidan Koch is having a sensational sophomore season for Calloway County. Koch is a fierce competitor that’s going to give it everything she’s got when she is on the court. She is the second-leading scorer on the team putting up almost 17 points and adding 6.3 rebounds each game. Koch can get a bucket from all 3-levels and has no problem doing what’s necessary for her team to win. Last week she had a great performance against Hopkins County Central finishing the game with 25 points, 5 rebounds, and 3 assists helping the Lady Lakers advance to the Kentucky 2A Sectional Championship, where they will matchup against Boyle County in Owensboro tomorrow at 9:00am.
The Bath County Lady Cats are 10-5 on the season and guard Bayley French Bayley French 5’7″ | PG Bath County | 2026 State KY is taking her game to new heights. She is making a contribution on both ends of the floor, averaging 12.1 PPG, 3.4 RPG along with several assists and multiple steals. French excels in transition and she knows how to make herself available, using her speed her to get up the court in a hurry. She is also a tenacious defender and a streaky shooter from three that can light it up when she has the hot hand. She has several games with 15+ points including a 20-point game in late December against Pendleton County where she shot 60% from the field.

Katie Mastin Katie Mastin 5’4″ | PG West Jessamine | 2026 State KY has been a key contributor for West Jessamine this season scoring almost 13 PPG. Mastin loves to compete and has a motor that never stops, she is also very skilled and has a great feel for the game. I notice a vast improvement in her game this year, especially her perimeter shooting. She has shown that she can knock down the three ball and stop and pop on a dime from the mid range. Mastin had a game this season against Bryan Station, where she went off for a team-high 23 points and nailed 5 three-pointers.
The sharpshooter Nim Maynard is doing it all for Raceland this season. In 14 games played she leads the team in scoring with 13.8 PPG. Maynard is a terrific outside shooter that can also put the ball on deck and get to the rim. She stuffed the stat sheet last week against Lewis County finishing with 15 points, 11 rebounds, 7 assists, and 5 steals. She also had a great game right before the New Year, scoring a team-high 23 points and made a half-court shot for the second time this season.
