Continue ReadingBuilding on a breakout year last season Tatyonna Brown Tatyonna Brown 6’2″ | PF Air Academy | 2025 State CO has taken her game to another level. The 2025 forward has taken huge strides in her game on both sides of the floor. Especially on the defensive side of the ball her ability to defend 1-4 has turned her into an elite defender. On closeouts she has been able to get her hands on shot attempts leading to easy layups in transition.
Highlights
This past season Tatum Jones Tatum Jones 6’3″ | PF Mullen | 2025 State CO looked a lot more comfortable in her role at Mullen. She was able to play freely all while still taking care of what needed to be done in order for her team to win. She is handful for teams to handle in the paint combining size and skill for efficient scoring in the paint.
Highlights
When playing on the wing Jane Rumpf Jane Rumpf 6’2″ | PF Regis Jesuit | 2025 State CO becomes one of the most versatile players in the state. Her ability to knock down the 3 doesn’t allow opposing players to help off which spaces the floor more. All while still being able to play able to play with her back to the basket.
The ultimate stretch 4 of this class has to be Kaitlin Schumann Kaitlin Schumann 6’4″ | PF Horizon | 2025 State CO . At 6’5 Kaitlin has the length and strength to score over just about anybody. There are times that teams will send double teams to make it tough around the rim which when she can be moved out to the wing or corner. Creating space in the paint but also allowing Kaitlin easy looks from 3 forcing teams to change their game plan altogether.
Mason has been the poster child for what happens when you keep your head down and do the work. Over the past year her stock has risen so much, and she continues to stay in the gym adding to her game. Mason is a high energy player with an endless motor, she has great hands around the rim finishing amongst the double teams.
Highlights
One of the more underrated players in the class is Sophia Baal Sophia Baal 6’1″ | PF Cherry Creek | 2025 State CO and her level of play. She has a couple of different things she does well on both sides of the ball. Defensively she is very active and is great at talking teammates through situations. On offense she is a post threat as well as a knockdown shooter from the wing.
