Kendall Perry Kendall Perry 5'8" | PG Dr Phillips | 2026 State FL played well at the Sunshine Showdown. Perry does a a good job of handling the ball and creating scoring opportunities for herself and for her teammates. Perry has a very calm demeanor on the floor and goes about her business quietly. She does a great job of handling the ball and she can get to the rim when necessary and knows how to shake a defender to get her shot. She can score at all levels on the court. In the game I watched she did a good job of putting the defense on its heels, getting to the rim, and pulling up for the short jumper.

(Cover Photo) was a standout at the Sunshine Showdown for sure. On and off the court she made an impression. Sharpe has a game that is predicated on speed and quickness. She can shoot the three, she can get to the rim, and she is disruptive on the defensive end and can get steals. In the transition game, Sharpe was “not dull”. She got to the rim in a hurry and knew what to do with it. She was an exciting player to watch and she gained some followers for sure. Sickles had Hockley, Watts, and Sharpe! I see what the folks in Hillsborough county were talking about! Sharpe averaged over 14 points, 6.8 steals, and 6 assists last season. She was a standout at the Showdown.
Janiya Swift Janiya Swift 5'7" | SG Central Florida Christian Academy | 2027 State FL is one smooth point guard on the floor. Swift handles the ball well and doesn’t get sped up. She is a high IQ player who makes good decisions on the court. Swift is a three level scorer and is a total team player on the court. She has the ability to turn on a switch and take over a game or a possession when she needs to.
Trinity Berry Trinity Berry 5'8" | SG Jean Ribault | 2027 State FL really showed a lot of versatility to her offensive game. Berry connected on several threes, including a step back three under pressure and a few catch and shoot threes as well. Berry does a good job of shooting from all levels of the court and the majority of the time she creates her own shot. She also showed a nice touch on her shots, whether around the basket or behind the arc. The young Berry’s game is expanding right in front of our eyes and it is scary how good she can be.
Erynn Moffett Erynn Moffett 5'9" | PF Palm Bay | 2027 State FL played well on Saturday at the Sunshine Showdown. Moffett can handle the ball, rebound, lead the break, and make pinpoint passes to a cutting teammate. She was also impressive attacking the rim with athleticism and purpose. She can finish through contact. Moffett is fast and explosive and when she makes a play, it’s apparent. Moffett is versatile and smart and is capable of playing multiple positions on both ends of the floor.

can handle the rock and shoot it too. She was one of the best I saw and stopping and pulling up for her shot. During a game, Belton is constantly on the move and can get to the rim or stop and pop in the midrange area. She can also knock it down from behind the three point arc. Belton gets out in transition well and can pass the ball. She is a high IQ player who makes great decisions on the floor.
Jadyn Watts Jadyn Watts 5'9" | SG Sickles | 2027 State FL was in the building and was very impressive. Watts let the game come to her and when she got her chance to shine she did. Watts shot the three ball well with a silky smooth shot. She also ran the floor well in transition, and was a problem on the defensive end. I had seen the tape and it didn’t lie. The young guard is electric and is a baller.
Victoria Valle Victoria Valle 5'7" | PG Doral Academy | 2027 State FL is the real deal. The young guard can score in a variety of ways and execute shots that are of a great difficulty. Valle is cool, crafty, and confident on the floor. She can get downhill to the rim and she can shoot the long range jumper as well. She was scoring every way imaginable at the Sunshine showdown. She played well during the final 4 in Lakeland. She was dynamic at the Showdown and really stood out in a group plot her peers.
Kori Edge Kori Edge 5'4" | PG Miami Country Day | 2027 State FL played well and really had great speed on the court. She can get to the rim, draw extra defenders, and can pass the ball. Her game is predicated off of her great speed with the ball in her hand and her ability to change directions. She was an exciting player to watch
Presley Norman Presley Norman 5'10" | SG Bolles | 2027 State FL look real good out on the court. I’ve gotten so used to seeing her play up three and four grades in high school that I had to do a double take seeing her play with her own age group. Norman played very well. She played faster and looked more athletic than in the past and her basketball IQ was on full display. Her anticipation, instincts, setting up teammates, manipulating the defense were all on display. Also on center stage was her game. Her three point shot was on point and so was her midrange shot. Norman played well and showed why she is one of the top ballers in the Freshman class.
